Three things ive learned about Kelowna:

1. Theres alot more Sens fans in Kelowna then i thought

2.This is really well built room! everyone is very welcoming and willing to help.

3. There is lots of excitement heading into the season after the great draft the team had!

1) Right winger Joseph Lombardi hangs around me alot during the team showers and always asks to wash my back, even if I've already washed my back.
2) Emiya Shirou is about 70 years old, claims he's been in the SMJHL 3 years now.
3) Teddy Cuddles is a stout american, never leaves the locker room without an american flag draped across his body.

The first thing i noticed was that McZ was hanging around with a thinking expression, thumbing his cheek trying to figure out what was going on. Hmm

The next thing i noticed was all the good doggos in there, Luna and Onyx were running around freely in a big happy fur party. Ezio was also flying around. This team reall likes their pets, and i love that.

Speaking of love, The team is full of it. I don't think i've ever been welcomed like that into a group, just a great place to be drafted to and i can't wait to hit the ice with these boys and gals!

(1) The Montreal Militia all seem like a very nice and enjoyable group of people. Couldn't be happier then to have been drafted by them.

(2) I'm glad everyone is willing to lend a helping hand, because there is a very steep learning curve around here.

(3) Thank goodness it's not a french speaking locker room.

As a Russian entering this league, it's a lot. You have to learn to English normally, but being a Militia member, you also need to learn French, or else you basically can't travel around the city.

Something else I heard of before being drafted, was the three headed monster that is the Tanner brothers. They say sometimes the locker room get's out of control when these three start going at each other, and for some weird reason they all wear tin foil on their knuckles, I don't know why, but I don't want to find out.

I've been in my locker room for a couple of days now. It's definitely not what I was expecting! These guys have knocked it out of the park (like the Astro's did against the Sox). I came in off some random reddit post, only speaking to the guy who posted it. Since then, I've been drafted (seriously, I didn't think that was going to happen at all) and have gotten so much information and help from the Mammoths that I don't feel like that scared newbie any more. Plus, there's this guy named McJesus that people were worshipping. I'm still trying to figure that one out.

You want rivalry or bromance? I've seen a few guys in the locker room staring at my beard, just wanting to touch it. I feel like beard envy is the ultimate rivalry, but can be the ultimate bromance at the same time. I wash and condition daily. I don't blame you for wanting to touch it.

I haven't seen any weird guys lurking in the corner, but to be honest there's two corners that are surprisingly dark. I've heard some deep breathing coming out of them, but I really don't plan on investigating any time soon.

All in all? I was seriously intimidated when I first viewed these forums. I talked to Ace on reddit and decided I'd check it out. I got drafted when I wasn't even expected to be looked at, and these guys have been so helpful in getting me up to speed. I'm really grateful for all the information and help they've given me, and I hope I can help someone new some day!
