As a new player, you can complete Activity Checks, Weekly Trainings, and our own Rookie Tasks! These will give you a huge jump start (plenty of $, I'm talking $9M in free tasks in addition to a nice rookie contract) entering the draft and will help you make your player even better! We have a super exciting offseason too as we learn which teams will get the big Free Agents, new contracts are signed and most importantly we have a Prospect Tournament. This lets teams get a good look at the players entering the draft and helps new players show off what they got!
We also have Minor Leagues, which is awesome for new players as you get your own locker room and teammates as you prepare for your entry into the Majors!

That depends very much on the role you choose. If you plan a more casual approach the perfect position to choose is closer, as they start with higher base TPE and can be a valuable addition to the PBE roster from day 1 if build properly. Positional players and starting pitchers usually require a bit more investment but we have plenty of semi-actives occupying those more prized roles, so it's still quite possible, even if you are not max earning.
As for the process of earning TPE, it follows similar to the SHL structure of money league, though earning money is much easier (even if top equipment costs a bit more), because of higher contracts and more valuable twitter, media and much-expanded rookie tasks system that will get you set up at least for a season of best trainings.
If you are going to log in once for a week to complete training, AC, complete weekly prime time predictions and claim affiliation PT than for ~10 minutes you will be able to get ~70% of the TPE awards. That's enough to build good positional player/starting pitcher too, not just closer, only will take a bit more time spent in the Minors, until you are developed and ready for big league, shouldn't take longer than a season though, as the league is ready for more talent with recent expansion.

Pro Baseball Experience is expanding and is looking for new rookies to join the diamond!
If you like baseball, you'll absolutely love PBE. We of course have PT affiliation with SHL, as well as with NSFL, GOMHL, and SBA!
We just had the expansion draft in the offseason, so create to join the Season 13 Draft class!
Join one of our current 8 Major League teams:

Or be lucky enough to be drafted by one of two new expansion teams!

As a new player, you can complete Activity Checks, Weekly Trainings, and our own Rookie Tasks! These will give you a huge jump start (plenty of $, I'm talking $9M in free tasks in addition to a nice rookie contract) entering the draft and will help you make your player even better! We have a super exciting offseason too as we learn which teams will get the big Free Agents, new contracts are signed and most importantly we have a Prospect Tournament. This lets teams get a good look at the players entering the draft and helps new players show off what they got!
We also have Minor Leagues, which is awesome for new players as you get your own locker room and teammates as you prepare for your entry into the Majors!
All players who join now will be eligible for the Season 13 Draft on August 2nd. We use OOTP 19 as our sim engine and stream live with some pretty in-depth graphics to watch your player. The games are streamed live with commentary three times a week. Come check out our site

The PBE is a great place to play even for those who are not so interested in baseball. The Graphical engine that is used sets it apart from other leagues and there is some brilliant personalities there! I hope to see more of you there!
PBE is what got me started in sim leagues and I've been there for 5 seasons now. Some great people, getting to see your player run around the field during a live stream is a beautiful thing, and it's similar enough to the SHL since it came from here that it's easy to pick up.
