Thats the key point, I think. A rule has to exist for what would ultimately be the worst case scenario.

I think he means being contracted to a team that turns out to be bad in certain peoples books. Like if a new player gets drafted to a SHL team without really knowing much but after time he finds out that most of the team has different view points than him/her, or he feels like hes being ignored by the whole team. Then if he goes and asks for a trade the new guy/gal will get hate because he doesn't enjoy himself which sometimes the hate from the board causes said new guy/gal to retire or go inactive and never come back.

This is an extreme example for sure but I think thats sorta what he means.

Still the player has the ability to scout teams just as much vice versa. Most J teams have recreates or GMs with knowledge about most teams. If I hadn't known where I was going before the draft I would have been asking around to at least my locker room if not pming the shl GMs. Players have just as much of a responsibility imo. In my short time here, I've had a wonderful time and find that most people here are at least tolerable, if not nice in their own right. You get out what you put in

Tbh I donâ€™t take his opinion too highly.. was one of the only people when LAP rebranded hated on it. Still considered one of if not the best logos and looks in the league so that should tell you something.
