Game Link

Welcome fans to the post game show! Tonight, we'll be covering game 93 of the SMJHL season. This game was held between the Vancouver Whalers and the Montreal Militia. Both teams are desperately trying to clinch a playoff game and both teams are ready to bring it their all to enter the post season.

A high shooting game tonight, both teams took a total of 59 shots combine tonight. We're in for treat tonight ladies and gentleman!

Montreal was on a man disadvantage a fair bit tonight, the Militia had a total of 6 penalties called on them tonight. However, their impressive penalty killing unit showed up tonight and managed to kill 5 out of those 6 penalties.

Fans of the great game of hockey, buckle in. We're going to be in for a great game tonight!

1st Period

Benis Smol of the Whalers wins face-off versus Dayymo Ralchankinov at centre ice. Joshua Woodcroft manages to get an early shot in as the Whalers rush the Militia's zone. Walter Hobbs saves Woodcroft's shot before facing a rebound from Kolja Seppänen. Hobbs doesn't let it past him though.

A faceoff is called and Alex Andani wins it versus Anuj Radia. The Militia manage to get the puck off a of the Whalers and bring to the Whaler's zone where Anuj sends a puck flying before DabCity Savage deflects it pots one in. 1-0 Militia.

Almost exactly 7 minutes later, Militia get another goal. This time by first season Militia Anuj Radia.

The Whalers don't stay quiet for long and Danny Mete helps them get on the scoreboard 3 minutes later. 2-1 Militia.

Vancouver doesn't stop here and gets another goal with 2 minutes left in the period. Shaun Stephens pots one in.

2nd Period

An awfully quiet period until Vancouver pots another one! That's 3 straight! Kolja Seppänen gets his first of the night!

However, silence rides through the rest of the 2nd.

3rd Period

The last period the game starts slow but picks up around 7 minutes in when Dayymo Ralchankinov ties the game for the Militia.

A minute and a half later, Anuj Radia gets the go ahead goal for the Militia. His 2nd of the night. 4-3 Militia.

Vancouver couldn't get a goal in the 3rd and fall to the Militia.

Three Stars

1: Anuj Radia gets the first star of the game tonight. With his 1 assist, 1 goal and 1 game winning goal. Anuj deserves it.

2: Danny Mete tried his best tonight, but it wasn't enough to help the Whaler secure a win. Mete finishes the game with 1 goal and 2 assists.

3: With 1 assist, 1 goal. Dayymo Ralchankinov is our 3rd star of tonight's game.
