Pivonka's Pick

There's no surprise here as the Montreal Militia take on the Detroit Falcons and there's only one guy on the ice I want to discuss and that's Pavel Pivonka the man himself. While at quick glance you might say he had a good game. Picked up the assist, finished a plus one, one shot and three hits. But then you see the faceoffs. What a downright shameful concession of the puck by Pivonka all night as he wins just one of his twelve attempts. There's nothing in the game more important than starting your shift with control of the puck. If you're not on offense then you're on defense and Pivonka kept Montreal on defense way too much tonight.
