Yeah it's not there. I think it could be under the actual earphone cushion, but I'm kinda nervous to take it off. It says grip it and turn it counterclockwise, but I feel like I'm gonna break them.

I have a pair of Dre Solo HD's. They are nice but the top rubber part is peeling off.
