#1

Outlaws Outlaws Outlaws

Hello and welcome to the Outlaws Saloon Arena for our first post-season Anaheim Team Awards. This season was the second in Anaheim's history and  we saw the Outlaws rise from 8th in the standings last season to 3rd overall. While the playoff exit in the second round to Montreal was not ideal, we have seen great growth on our team and want to celebrate our great locker room and team culture. With that said the team has voted on a few awards as well as there being a few statistical awards to give out. Without further ado, let's get to celebrating the S46 Anaheim Outlaws.

The first award we will be presenting tonight is the Quickdraw Award. This award is for the Outlaw that scored the most goals during the regular season.

The winner is......Hiro Fujikawa. Fujikawa scored 21 goals during Season 46.

The next award will be the Reload Award. This award is given to the Outlaw who notched the most assists during the regular season.

The winner is.......Mathias Seger. Seger put up an impressive 30 assists this season.

The third award we have to give out is the Bounty Hunter Award. This award is for the Outlaw who had the most total points during the regular season

Outlaws Outlaws Outlaws

Welcome back to the inaugural Anaheim Outlaw Team Awards. Now that the stat based awards are past us, we will go on to the award voted on by the players and management.

The first award in this category tonight will be the Greenhorn Award. This award is given to the best rookie player as voted on by the players and management. The race for best rookie was close with a single vote determining the winner. I would like to thank all of our extremely active rookies for making this second season of the Anaheim Outlaws so special.

The winner is........ Martijn Westbroek. Westbroek currently plays center and was drafted 23rd overall in the third round of the Season 46 SMJHL Entry Draft.

Our second award in the team selected category is the Cold Steel Award. This award is given to the best defenseman as voted on by the players and management. This vote was a landslide in favor of the victor.

The winner is.......Mathias Seger. Seger led all defense with 35 points and the second most minutes played with 1,122.

The next award to be given out is the Desperado Award. This award is given to the best forward as voted on by the players and management. The winner of this award had some hearty competition.

The winner is......Hiro Fujikawa. Fujikawa lead all Outlaws in scoring and proved they were worthy of the C on their sweater.

The fourth award in the second half of our awards is the Final Stand Award. This award goes to the best goalie as voted on by the players and management. After a midseason trade and playoff push, the winner of this award was solidified as the bona fide starter.

The winner is...... Tibuk Soonika. Tibuk won the award by unanimous vote and solidified their place between the pipes in Anaheim.

The next award we have to give out is the Wanted Poster Award. This award is given out to the loudest voice in the Outlaw Locker room and on the site as voted by the players and management.

The winner is.......Collin Gibbles. Gibbles started a series of team interviews, as well as promoting the team in many facets. They have also been known to scream into the locker room on Saturday mornings to get the rest of the team's updates ready.

The next team voted award is the Campfire Lighter Award. This award is for the locker room leader as voted by the players and management. This was a close race with two candidates receiving all but one vote and a single vote deciding the winner.

The winner is......Mathias Seger. Seger has been know to be active in the team locker room and providing valuable guidance and leadership.

The next award will be the Read All About It Award. This award is given to the best piece of media written by a member of the Outlaw Locker Room as voted on by the players and management.

The winner is..... Mathias Seger with their Meet the Outlaws media. There were many great nominations but this was a clear favorite.

The penultimate award we have for tonight's show is the One Last Job Award. This award is given to the playoff mvp as voted on by the players and management.

The winner is.....Martijn Westbroek. Westbroek shined in the short playoff push for Anaheim.

And now it is time for the final award of the night. This award is the highest honor given during these awards. The Ringleader Award is given to the Team MVP as voted by the players and management. We had 3 players nominated for this award.

The nominees are.........

Collin Gibbles

Mathias Seger

Hiro Fujikawa

All three of the nominees had a great impact on the second season of the Anaheim Outlaws

The winner is.......

MATHIAS SEGER!!!!!!

Congratulations to all of those who won tonight and thank you to all the players and management who voted in the selection process. Next season's awards will hopefully come following a 4-Star Cup Victory for the Anaheim Outlaws. Please take care and prepare for the coming 47th SMJHL season, Entry Drafts, and IIHF/WJC tournaments.
