S47 Hall of Fame Ceremony
#16

Quote:Additionally, a congratulations is in order for the West Kendall Platoon, who lifted their franchises' fifth Challenge Cup in their 47 seasons of existence. I guess West Kendall realized that they only need to be relevant every forty seasons in order to stave off talk of relocating to a city who's greatest landmark isn't the strip mall next to the Red Robin.

The Hall of Fame Committee is made of up thirteen members, all of whom are either highly-influential members of our league as a whole, or members of the Hall of Fame themselves. The Committee maintains a list of former players who they believe have had substantial careers within the SHL. This could include Challenge Cup victories, captaincies, individual awards or nominations, or the impact of their career on their communities and the league as a whole. Those who are eligible for the hall have been listed above. Players are eligible to be considered for seven ceremonies before they lose their eligibility for the Hall of Fame. Each Committee Member has five votes to give, and those votes are weighted from first to fifth. There are no limitations on how many players may enter the Hall of Fame in a given year, however, they must meet a certain threshold of votes before they can be admitted to the Hall of Fame.
