S42 PT #1 - Trading Card Game

If I could make a card, I think the funniest player to make it about would be about Blabar Bananerstrom in my team of Toronto. As a player, when you look at his stats, you can see that he’s kind of a really focused player. For a card game from Wizard of the Coast, Blabar would be a pusher type kind of card with lots of attack power representing his sole focus on scoring and a weak toughness or resistance stat since he doesn’t have lots of endurance and strength. When coming into play, he would be able to attack on the first turn. But since his passing is extremely weak, he would get a malus on his attack when paired with more than three other creatures / players. The tactic mostly used with that card would be to make tactical strike but he would come and go every turn. You cannot summon him with mana, only with money.

Card Name: Sachimo Zoidberg Junior

Low cost card that requires the 'Sachimo Zoidberg' card to fully activate all effects.

Played alone the card would give +2 Offense to all other players currently on the ice, but at the cost of -2 Defense. This is due to Zoidberg Jr.'s offensive minded play, but less then stellar defensive play. A card you wouldn't want to play later in the game when you're ahead but could come in handy to push for the lead if you're behind.

The card becomes overpowered when played with 'Sachimo Zoidberg', a high cost card that has a great synergy effect when played with Junior. When Junior is in play and Zoidberg is played, the perk 'Like Father, Like Son' is activated and the defensive penalty is removed from Junior and all players on the team gain a +2 boost to all attributes until either Zoidberg is removed from play.

Well the only card games I’ve ever played were Pokémon and yugioh so bare with me here gonna kind of wing it. If there’s any player in this entire league that deserves to have some silly card to be made of them it’s no other than Muhammad Mclovin. He’s been Dimmadomes best friend since grade school and he’s always been into that kinda stuff so first off he will be as giddy as a school girl. Secondly this card would be a powerhouse, Op, god card, legendary, whatever you wanna call it it’s gonna be the top dawg. Called the Anchorage Assassin which is self explanatory if you’ve seen the dude play. He actually killed a kid in state finals sophomore year. And Anchorage is our new home and new base of operations. The first ability he would have would be to boost the power of all friendly monsters by 2 and this is for each year he’s been captain of our team. The guy is the personification of leadership the second ability he would have would be wipe out all opponents monsters no questions asked and that comes from his ablilty to clear space and take no prisoners on the ice. He will find a way

Eternal Howl

The Eternal Howl is a magic card that increases the defensive strength of all your current players on your field with 5 defense points and 5 attack points. The power of the Howl lasts until destroyed by a trap card. It can only be played when there are at least three players in play that wear Wolfpack colors.
The flavor subtext is as followed ‘As the loyal wolves howl together, the pack increases their strength’

This card has this magic effect due to the effect that the Wolfpack has on it’s players, over the last decade we have seen much loyalty within the Wolfpack as their players remain loyal. Legends like Nathan Russel and Jasper Clayton are just examples of Hall of Fame players that always wore the Wolfpack green with pride. For a Wolfpack based deck, this is a rare card which will be wanted by most of the players of the game due to the enormous boost it could give.

The Colorado Raptors are a team full of rookies, thus they will be relying heavily on the veteran members this season. Therefore, it only makes sense that the card representing the Raptors be of captain Troy McClure III. Captain Troy’s card possesses two special abilities: screech and sprint. The screech, when activated, causes the McClure III to produce a high-pitched screech that dazes the opponents while also empowering his younger comrades. This ability has a higher impact on players with lower TPE; low TPE opponents with thus be intimidated more easily, and low TPE comrades will be more highly motivated. Troy McClure’s sprint ability can only be used once per period of play. This ability gives McClure is temporary speed boost allowing him to rip past opponents. This boost lasts for 5 minutes of play. The McClure card is the most powerful card on the Raptors’ team as he also has the overarching ability to double the abilities of all the Raptors players in play at the same time.

Wizards of the Coast got into contact with the Buffalo Stampede in order to collaborate on a brand new card that will release in the 2019 Core Set of Magic the Gathering, and this brand new card will feature Stampede defenseman Brynjar Tusk. The playing card adaptation of Brynjar Tusk will be a forest card that will require 6 mana to play - 4 of any kind of mana and 2 forest mana - and the card will possess a very specialized set of skills. As Tusk in the SHL is a very defensive player with little offense to his game, the Tusk creature card will possess just 1 attack, but 10 defense, making it a defensive specialist on it's side of the playing field. Tusk's special abilities include Flying in order to defend against flying creature, and also has a special ability that reads, "Every time Tusk defends an attack, add one attack counter to Tusk's overall attack. After attacking, Tusk loses all of it's counters and its attack resets to 1."

The card I would present is Sebastian Primeau, the rookie goalie of the Minnesota Chiefs.

Due to Primeau's raw age, some would find this card a bit useless by looking at its low start overall, but those people never fully tested the abilities of this rare and unique rookie level card. What makes it so valuable are the 2 special, yet simple buffs/ abilities.. Tapped ROTY and the Unleaked Prime time. The Tapped ROTY specialty strengthens the goalies primary goalie abilities throughout the battle until it reaches elite stage... that's when the Unleaked Prime time perk is unlocked and used to raise all of Primeau's abilities to match with the opponents goalie.

These two perks were chosen for Primeau because of the upside he brings to his Chiefs team. Yes, he's young but he's coming off 2 incredible back to back seasons in the juniors, where he was top goalie.. which is rare to do for a goalie down there. There's no doubt he's going to grow into a prime time SHL goalie, he already shows signs of improvement and could potentially be a candidate for ROTY.

The card I would have to make would be one any one of the Whalers team captains. This card would most likely be a very powerful card. This card would have a lot of mana that would be required to use this card. It would also be a powerful attack card that would be used to come into play in very stressful situations. When this card would be played, the player can use this card for one of two options that they have. The first option would be for the captain to score a goal. Another option would be to block the other team from scoring. There is a third option that is a special attack option, and that is fighting. This card would most likely be able to win almost any fight that occurs. This card would be a very op card that could be played. This card could also be a rare card that would be hard to find, since it is such a good card.

The card I've created is a rare smjhl GM card, Incite Hysteria.

Incite Hysteria has 2 unique abilities. The first is "Controversial Rebrand". Incite Hysteria uses his GM powers to rebrand your team and (and do a damn fine job of it), granting +1 morale to all of your units in play. Your in play units appreciate the new and exciting rebrand as opposed to the "fleshy condom" look of the old brand, and therefore will fight harder for you. On the other hand, your opponents units are inflicted with "Nostalgic Weariness" (-1 awareness), and are too busy criticizing a rebrand that does not affect them rather than play to their full potential.

Incite Hysteria's second ability is "Don't Stop Rebuilding!". Similar to the ultimate Samee ability, "Forever a Rebuild", but less extreme. This ability allows you to trade your 2 best forwards for future picks, prospects and assets. Sure it hurts now, but maybe you'll win the next round? We will see in S43.

The legendary card for this season's Texas Renegades is the Walter Hobbs Card. It has the special renegade flair which is the "the fucking Renes" ability. The Fucking Renes ability, is whenever you are under attack you can use that ability and it automatically summons several other Renegade players and prospects to insult the other players that are attacking you. It is especially effective against any members of the edmonton Blizzard, especially those with the crybaby role. Additionally the Fucking Renes role gets you points because it is so damn wholesome.

Walter Hobbs has many special abilities. His biggest ability is called save them all. That's when he gets fired at many many many times and he decides to save people like how he saves shots on goal. His other ability is rising star. This is because Hobbs is so good at such a young age. It is rare for a rookie goaltender to be such a god damned stud at an early age, but Hobbs is up to the task. That's why his card is so valuable. 178

My card would be a Hearthstone card which allows you to summon Conor McGregor as a fighter for your side of the board. The card would be surrounded and colored with blue and goal, which represents the colors of the team he plays for (the Buffalo Stampede in the SHL). Since each card in Hearthsone costs a certain amount of mana, we will make this card be the maximum of ten, since Conor was the biggest draw in the UFC and is going to be one of the biggest draws hopefully in the SHL as his skills continue to develop.

As for attack and health points, I think the health points should be 24, which represents the amount of fights McGregor had during his time in the UFC. As for McGregor’s attack points, I think the best number for the card would be 21, which represents the amount of wins McGregor had in the UFC. These numbers should have the effect of doubling after every turn to resemble McGregor being the original same time double champion in the UFC.

The card would also have the special ability to summon any random current monster (or perhaps a random SHL player with his own card), which would be a callback to one of McGregor’s most famous comebacks in the UFC, when he said “Who da fook is that guy?” in response to Jeremey Stephens.

Well, the Manhattan Rage aren’t exactly a good team, I’m sure you’ve seen the standings. Of course, for the team itself there are two main abilities that would really make the trading card based off the team itself. The team card’s first ability is Self-Destruct, which must be used after a successful season, with a bonus if used after a Challenge Cup. Essentially this card damages every other card on the field at the penalty of destroying itself. The other card, which is simply called Tank, allows you to trade out any 2 cards more powerful than the Rage card in order to draw 4 cards, which could be better or worse. The two abilities embody the spirit of the Rage, which is blow it all up and start over, the rebuild happened right after the team had won a Challenge Cup, and the team has been building up from little to no resources ever since, hoping to find great players for the future.
