Most of us did not reach the Challenge Cup finals in S45 which means that most teams have more work to be done. in [u]150[/u] words or more describe what (or who) your team is missing in order to make the Challenge Cup series. Is it a role on the ice that needs to be filled? Is it a specific player? Is it a locker room leader? Must include a mention of a build attribute for either a specific player that you think would complete the team, or the type of player that you think you could use.

The San Franciso Pride did not even make it into the playoffs this season, but it was surely not from a lack of trying. The first obvious thing that stands out is that the team as a whole is missing TPE. There are simply too many inexperienced players on the team, the Pride tying the Manhattan Rage with six rookies on the squad. If you look at the teams who made the finals, the Edmonton Blizzard only have one rookie and the West Kendall Platoon have none. The Pride are a young team and are only expected to get better once their rookies train and elite prospects come on board with higher TPE. A quick glance at the roster from the end of the regular season and I think they need forwards with higher passing or scoring across the board and strength and endurance needs to be up for their first line forwards. They also need their defensemen to follow the lead of players like Isak Ødegård and Jack Tanner. We'll be able to tell more what this group needs as they age.

Sadley, little Tammy was not the same after the recess peanut butter cup accident of S44. Her parents took her to the pediatrician where they labeled the incident a 'trauma' and prescribed Clonazepam to help Tammy cope.. The doctors visit cost her parents $100 dollars!... how many recess peanut butter cup packs could little tammy have bought with that $100 if each pack cost $2 dollars?

TASK 6: (Written, 3 TPE)
Every player has a bucket list of things they want to accomplish before they retire. In [u]150[/u] words or more write about the things you have completed on your bucket list and some of the things not yet accomplished.
WC: 198 words
Dom Montgomery has a relatively short bucket list, but there are big things on it. Things he's completed include learning how to sail a boat, learning how to badly play guitar, coming out as bi to his close friends on the team/his family, and getting drafted in the SHL. He still has a long way to go until he retires, but things on his bucket list include winning a Four-Star Cup with the Halifax Raiders or just making sure they try their hardest to stay good people while going far in the playoffs, making it to the SHL, and representing his family and UK players in the IIHF. He also wants to use his hopeful hockey resources and fame to help charities that are important to him, like dog rescue leagues and the LGBTQ+ community, and probably some other things, but that's what he cares about a lot right now. In terms of goals outside of hockey, he wants to sail across all the Great Lakes, get better at cooking and playing guitar/singing horribly. He also wants to travel more across the UK and get a dog of his own once he's settled into the SHL.

The Halifax Raiders were the underdogs in the season 45 playoffs and made it their mission to force a game six in the second round against the Detroit Falcons, but it just wasn't enough this time around. Dom Montgomery is taking this offseason to spend some time around Halifax with his boys, Jimmy Slothface and Perry Morgan, and then they're all following Dom back home to Michigan to meet his parents' dogs and go sailing around Lake Huron for a bit/be out on the beach. After Jimmy and Perry leave, Dom will hang out with some of his friends and pet some dogs, then go off to World Junior Cup to play for Team British Isles and then right after that, head to IIHF World Championship to play for Team United Kingdom for the first time, so hopefully he doesn't get too hockey'd out. Then after that, he will have some quick downtime in Halifax, go sailing a bit around there, and then be back to team training camp with the Halifax Raiders. Let's go do that hockey.
