The story of Nicholas Williams would be a very interesting one. Drafted in the middle rounds of the s42 SMJHL entry draft, he worked like a dog becoming one of the biggest members of the Scarecrows as they returned to form in s43. He was named captain, leading them to the finals and keeping his team in it by scoring point after point but unfortunately his goalie let him down. He led them back to the finals the year after, winning the cup and being called up to Winnipeg, a team that traded up to draft him in s43, and winning a cup there too, recording his first SHL goal in the playoffs of all places. He then struggled to find his place on an under performing Jets squad and left in free agency to an exciting new expansion team, where he is one of the biggest upcoming stars along his old friend and let down Aleister Cain.
