The story of upcoming S46 rookie, Guy Zheng, is an interesting one. Drafted in the SMJHL S45 draft by the Kelowna Knights, Zheng is an offensive dman who put up 31 points in his rookie season. Choosing to stay down for the season he is already starting hot with 10 assists in 11 games, almost point per game! Zheng was drafted by the New England Wolfpack with their 3rd selection in the first round, which they acquired by trading up the day of the draft. He was given the opportunity to move up immediately and become a true rookie, but instead decided to stay loyal to the team that drafted him in the J and help lead them towards post season success. I am lucky to be his teammate both in Kelowna and New England and I hope to achieve a lot of success playing with him throughout our careers.
