A good compromise would be an option to discuss one specific thing about the SHL (or SMJHL) season, which would be up to the PT director to determine. Maybe one week asks for people to discuss the deadline, and another week asks for people to discuss a certain team falling or rising in the standings.

Thanks for the feedback fellas, its my job to listen to each member group and try to find a way to give everyone alittle of what they want. so im going to address your queries here below.

I consider myself a stat guy and a league historian so i very much enjoy in season SIM related tasks. unfortunatley not everyone does and in the few times that i have thrown them out there they werent receieved well... for the WFT you saw allot of members copying and pasting other peoples posts and most doing the minimum requirements to earn the TPE. for the PT i receieved mixed feedback on it. I think part of the reason why stems from the recycling of the same SIM related topics.. with a high recreate base and only so many SIM related topics to discuss.. weve ansered the same questions multiple times in tasks and people just dont enjoy redundant topicss.. even if the responses are differant due to it being a new year.

In this role you start to figure out what percentages of people like what.. Character, Community and Historical related posts are typicaly well receieved if the topics are good.. that said if you veer towards any 1 to long you get pushback.. so i try and mix them up. below is this season point tasks..

S46 PT #4 - Discord Commissioner (community)
S46 PT #3 - The Red Carpet (charcter)
S46 PT #2 - SHL Cribs (character)
S46 PT #1 - SHL! True Hollywood Story (historical)

**But i have thought about how to add SIM/Seasonal/statistical based point taks which engage people and i think its in the packaging of the point task.. moving forward im going to add a statistical/SIM related PT each season packaged differantly then they have been added in the past and see how they are recieved. if they get good feedback ill continue to add more. As for SIM related WFT's.. i dont think they will work well under the 25 word 1 reply minimum requirement..
