Jordan Joestar (2 goals, 1 assist) and Monkey D. Lully (3 assists) both had a 3 point evening. Nicolas Fleming scored 2 goals for the Scarecrows.

First period
Both teams started with a rookie goalie on net. Junebug Langdon-Wray for the Lions and Billy Sorokin for the Scarecrows. And coincidentally both goalies also started their first game of the season.
Lions started shaky with a hooking penalty for Sami Karppa just 5 seconds into the game. Nicolas Fleming opened the scoring early in the first period on St.Louis 2nd powerplay attempt. The Lions came to life late in the first period with 2 goals in a 22 seconds span. Rahotep Tutankhamu succesfully deflected a shot by Cant Eykhil at 18:40. At 19.02 Eva Lykke Aparjode easily tipped in a pass from Dinars Briedis.

Second period
Similar to the first period, St.Louis came out the lockerroom strong again with Nicolas Fleming scoring his second powerplay of the game (2-2) at 3.09. Lions team-leading scorer Arsene Arsenich broke the tie with 9 minutes remaining, with his 5th goal of the season. Rookie Jordan Joestar put the Lions on a 4-2 lead with his first career goal. Billy Sorokin (9 saves on 13 shots) looked not comfortable in the net and got replaced by Scarecrows star-goalie Aleister Cain.

Third period
St.Louis looked like they gave up the game, shooting just 5 shots on the net. Jordan Joestar celebrated his second goal of the game at 9.25. Michael Fox scored with 1.13 remaning for the final 3-5 score.  Junebug Langdon-Wray ended the game with 17 saves on 20 shots. Aleister Cain gave up 1 goal on 9 shots.
