Weekend Funtime: Hard Knocks

Hard Knocks List:
**1. West Kendall
2. Edmonton
3. Minnesota
4. Texas
5. Chicago

#1 Team Explanation: The current iteration of the West Kendall Platoon has made its mark on the league. With a handful of Challenge Cups over the past decade, they managed to silence the far-too-frequent jokes that were slung there way over the league's long history. Although there have been plenty of comings and goings over this current successful streak, the coaching staff, the management, and some of the key players have remained the same. The system is working, and it would be interesting to take a glimpse at how that process works: how new players manage to meld to fit an established structure and an established environment, and how older players prepare for yet another season of the grind, aiming to repeat their success.

Hard Knocks List:
**1. Manhattan Rage
2. Hamilton Steelhawks
3. Minnesota Chiefs
4. Tampa Bay Barracuda
5. Edmonton Blizzard

#1 Team Explanation: The Manhattan Rage have one of the best roster in the league but they are winning games during the regular season. It would be great to see their chemistry and what's going on in the locker room. They have the roster to compete but they just don't work well together.

Hard Knocks List:
**1. Winnipeg Jets
2. Manhattan Rage
3. Chicago Syndicate
4. Edmonton Blizzard
5. Hamilton Steelhawks

#1 Team Explanation: Among the big surprises of S48 have been the Winnipeg Jets, a team that is dazzlingly young. Only three of their active players were from before the S40s, so this is a team that is growing. Seeing a snapshot of the future stars of the league would be ideal for viewers and getting to know them personally could help them build some league wise recognition. There’s certainly some high picks to showcase like second overall Ola Wagstrom, who just signed an extension and will be trying to claw his way onto line 1, and first overall Jax Duggan, who will be competing to make the roster out of camp next year but could go down to juniors for another year. Many of their prospects have record breaking work ethic, which it will be excellent to showcase their regiments; Ola Wagstrom and Michael Scarn @Trautner are both leading their draft classes in TPE count.

Of course it’s not just the youngsters; Jason Visser @ToeDragon84 is the all time TPE record holder, and in spite of a nearly 20 year career, he still manages to be one of the top players in the league. It would be interesting to see how such a seasoned veteran mentors young players and handles his captaincy responsibilities, as well as the steps he is taking to battle regression. Gary Grease @FlappyGiraffe will also be interesting to follow as he is just about to head into the regression phase of his career, and will need to work hard to remain a top defenseman as he ages. And lastly, it will be interesting to watch the emotional send off of Crossfit Jesus @CFJ, who has announced his intentions to retire but has gone out with a bang. Jesus has been an important player for the Jets throughout his career, so there should be some inspirational ceremonies at preseason games.

Hard Knocks List:
**1. NOLA
2. Buffalo
3. Toronto
4. Chicago
5. Minnesota

#1 Team Explanation: I will pick New Orleans to be on hard knocks because they have a very good amount of active players to showcase how active the SHL truly is. Another reason why I chose them is because of each players personality on the team. Players like @Evok and @CptSquall give great jokes and know how to make an entrance. They would be fan favorites from the get go.

Hard Knocks List:
**1.  Barracuda
2.  Panthers
3.  Platoon
4.  pride
5.  Rage

#1 Team Explanation: I think doing a series on the Barracuda would be awesome to show a rebuilding team making a huge push for the playoffs. With all of the young talent on the team, I think that this would be a great addition to the league.

Hard Knocks list:

**1. New Orleans
2. New England
3. Buffalo
4. Minnesota
5. Chicago

**NOLA - New Orleans would be great for Hard Knocks, a newer team, that has been winning since they joined. Already with one finals appearance, they are looking like a team who will compete for the Challenge Cup each season. Their players are all very active and would make for great entertainment on the ice, in the locker room and in the wild city of New Orleans. Also, with a great mix of veterans and young players and prospects there will be type of player for every fan to cheer for.

1. Minnesota
2. Buffalo
3. Chicago
4. New England
5. Manhattan

Justification for #1 - Honestly, I am just interested in how the hell is Minnesota doing. The team is crumbling under the punishment brought upon them by their co-GM of two weeks, and now they have to work with very little while trying to not look like a dumpster fire. Has to be a fantastically tense experience for anyone involved, and who wouldn't want the TV audiences to get a taste of that.

Hard Knocks List:
**1.Calgary
2.Minnesota
3.Chicago
4.Buffalo
5.Manhattan

#1 Team Explanation:

There's a lot of reasons one would want to get an inside look at the Dragons training camp and how it works as they're one of the most successful teams, but the main reason i'd want to an inside look into Calgary would be to observe the interesting behaviors of Chico Smeb, that alone would be worth it and full of entertainment.

Hard Knocks List:
**1. West Kendall Platoon
2. San Francisco Pride
3. Los Angeles Panthers
4. Tampa Bay Barracuda
5. New Orleans Specters

#1 Team Explanation: I'll be honest, I am just putting The West Kendall Platoon down as the top spot, and forgetting about the rest. Just for the slim chance that I get to see some skin on Chuck Crutchfield during the program. Whether it's a nice shot catching him out of the shower (please please please please please please happen), or just them getting zoomed in on real fuckin hard while all sweaty, and maybe using lip on the water bottles... Shit this is gonna be good.

Hard Knocks List:
**1. Minnesota Chiefs
2. Chicago Syndicate
3. New Orleans Specters
4. West Kendall Platoon
5. Calgary Dragons

#1 Team Explanation: No one can say, the Minnesota Chiefs wouldn't be the most interesting team to follow at the moment. From having to forfeit 3 first round picks to trading them away for McZehrl, times are certainly turbulent in Minnesota.

Hard Knocks List:
1. Chicago
2. Minnesota
3. New Orleans
4. Tampa Bay
5. Toronto

#1 Team Explanation:

Kennedy feels it would be a riot to watch himself go bar down while mic'd up. The microphone factor also encourages some good chirping entertainment.

Hard Knocks List:
1.Minnesota
2.Buffalo
3.Tampa Bay
4. Renegades
5. Manhattan

#1 Team Explanation: with GOD arriving to the team there's a new standard for the team. Will his presence make thier second rounders work as hard as first rounders? How will the Minnesota team react to the force that is GOD?

RETIRED

Hard Knocks List:
**1. Chiefs
2. Steelhawks
3. syndicate
4. Specters
5. Barracuda

#1 Team Explanation: I think a Hard Knocks about the Chiefs would be quite interesting due to the fact that they received a heavy punishment last season but now they have 10m more available to sign a good amount of Free Agents as well as having quite a few roster spots open that should be filled by some rookies. What's the atmosphere after the punishment and how will the players stay motivated?

#2 are the Steelhawks because they have a ton of retiring players which means a bunch of prospects will be called up to fill the vacated spots left by the veterans.

1. Minnesota Chiefs
2. Buffalo Stampede
3. San Francisco Pride
4. West Kendall Platoon
5. Manhattan Rage

Why not the Minnesota Chiefs? That would easily be the most entertaining part, seeing how the team is dealing with all the chaos and who will be the next to ditch them.
