I'd like to propose a role that forces teams to play their back-up-goalies at least for a few games a season. It's not realistic at all that almost every team plays their starter in every single game of the season. I think it would be good if there was a rule that the back-up has to start in at least 15% or maybe 10% of the games. It would increase realism and there would be some more goalie-spots in the SHL too. If this rule is implemented, having a decent back-up actually is something that helps your team, and at least playing 5-10 games a season will increase motivation of young players who will only be back-ups for the next year or two as well.
Since teams are almost finished planning and building their rosters, this rule shouldn't be implemented before S8. But I think then it would be a great addition!

i just think Goalies should have carry over fatigue as well.
We could also use a system based on Endurance. The more Endurance a goalies has, the more games he is allowed to play per season. Something like:
50-60 -> 45 Games
61-70 -> 48 Games
71-80 -> 50 Games
81-90 -> 53 Games
91-99 -> 55 Games
