Hello SHL,

It was brought to our attention today that the Toronto North Stars failed to regress inactive backup goaltender Tyler NoNerves after signing him this past offseason.

We appreciate that the Toronto North Stars were swift in resolving this issue as soon as it was brought to their attention so that this could be rectified in time for the playoffs, however the fact remains that NoNerves played six games this season without being properly regressed.

While the rulebook discusses penalties for late regression completion, the rulebook is silent on what happens in a case such as this one.

Upon discussion, the head office has determined that the Toronto North Stars will be fined $2,000,000 on their budget for next season, S35, lowering their cap to $68,000,000.
