Ashburn McAllister (RW) - 178 TPE

A two way winger here, and one that looks primed to be a top selection in the upcoming SMJHL entry draft. Great defensive foundation as a forward, in fact he has a better base here than most players in the SMJHL RIGHT NOW! His direction appears to be trending towards a skater with some ability to make plays and with his build? I can see him racking a lot of assists since defensive capability factors into pouncing on loose pucks. Nice physical frame and he is well on his way to becoming a contender for the two way player of the year!

Cant Eykhil © - 165 TPE

Power forward incoming! I am a big fan of the power forward center idea but lets take a deeper look into Cant's initial build. Quite well balanced and has a scoring inclination, but there is one major concern. Puck handling as a weakness can lead to some offensive woes, but it will not effect him much at the SMJHL level since he has put 16 TPE into his weakness just to keep it serviceable. With his track record as a member, I wouldn't be alarmed to see him overcome this. I like the fact he is investing in face-offs, could be a little higher though.

Lunga Gumba (LW) - 197 TPE

Mother of lord, the equipment is already being brought in!  He has the three strengths required of an elite scoring sniper that can succeed almost immediately at the SMJHL level. Problem is that he went pure scoring dump at the moment, but will be rounded out. Like, it can work to provide some volume shooting in spurts but I do not recommend going ham in one area. How will Gumba keep up with plays? How will he even get the puck on him own?! He has to have another player literally set him up-- It can work, but if you want to be a one man show this might not be the direction you should look towards. As long as he supplements well, this should be fine.

Mike Hunt (G) - 163 TPE

Goalies. I believe this to be the toughest position and the one that requires a lot of mental fortitude to play. The SMJHL has historically not been kind to goaltending numbers, but you have to look at how you perform in comparison to your fellow goaltenders. I believe a healthy balance between primary and secondary saving attributes will get you through.Hunt looks very good, and no attribute is leaning so far above the others on some Gumba stuff. Teams should look to add a Mike Hunt and if he continues to improve and endure, I see big things for him.

Kalvins Zvejnieks © - 178 TPE

He has shown himself to be a great prospect right now and I am interested to see how he develops. A scoring weakness can be a death sentence from some guys, but I believe keeping a good ratio can be beneficial overall. Many coaches would classify this Latvian as a shut down forward with how he is trending. I would like to see him continue developing and refining his skills around defense/checking/faceoffs. Throw him out there on the penalty kill and take it from there. Not all teams are a fan of defensively inclined forwards but I believe every team should have one.

Osbert Whacker (D) - 174 TPE

I consider him more of a player with a chance to be an offensive dynamo with a solid defensive touch. Puck moving defenseman. I would like for him to be moving the puck, improving his passing just a tad. Focus around skating and puck handling alongside his defense. He will be able to make plays if he heads this direction and I believe Osbert can be all time. There may be a chance I put together another article describing attributes but he looks good.

Olin O'Dowd (D) - 177 TPE

Olin likely has a lot of experience from Michael so I expect him to know a thing or two. He does seem more offensively inclined, more of a passer rather than a puck mover. He will be another defenseman unable to be truly physical but can still be a good option on the PP and PK. His build is not my cup of tea but he knows what to do to scceed in the SMJHL so I will trust him. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in Kelowna.

Michael Scarn © - 175 TPE

Scarn is more of an offensive winger than a center. As a coach I would drill him in face offs until he couldn't take draw no more, he is horrendous down the middle and not a player you can rely on coming out with possession. He can get loose pucks and whatnot but I am not a fan of where his mind is relative to his position. His spread is nice on the offensive end and I believe he can score a lot of points with the rate at which he is developing. Hoping he sticks with hokey and does well!

Aleksi O'Koivu-Volkova (G) - 172 TPE

His agency has stirred up some controversy before but I think there has been enough time since then where he can get some forgiveness. I expect Aleksi to be one of the first goaltenders taken and should be a lock to be a SHL caliber player. He has a lot to offer and come season start, I expect him to earn a lot and work hard to earn starts. An expansion team may look to take him on early to build a solid foundation being a member with a lot of experience that can help new players.

Monkey D. Luffy © - 176 TPE

I wanted to cram more defensemen in here but everyone and their mother decided checking is a plague for some reason. This here is Monkey D. Luffy, looks like a solid center with decent face offs. Thank god. Scoring inclined but seems to be going for all around scorer, in which he made the right decision. Good handles, but I would like for him to continue increasing his offensive attributes along with some face offs. I strongly believe centers should be able to win draws.
