Gm's  @Baelor Swift

SFP(Portland) gets:
Cleo Green
William Goddard
MIN S40 3rd[Traded to WPG]

MIN Gets:
Veli Kaalinpaa*Portland retains $2,000,000 of Kaalinpaa's S36 salary

First lets get into the Trade.

SFP gets
Cleo Green: former 1st round pick had a bumpy spot, and getting traded to SFP has really grounded Cleo and since he got traded to SFP, getting into the lineup since S37-Present. Cleo has turned into a limited role of a grinder, not getting a lot of TOI, but he gives it his all out there. In the 9 seasons he has been with the squad, he has only recorded 4 points, 3 of those coming from his 1st season with Portland.

William Goddard: only spend 1 season with SFP, but then got traded/let go after the season.

MIN gets
Veli Kaalinpaa:

Hasnt played a game in the SHL

So in the end, SFP/POR has clearly won the trade getting Cleo Green for the past 9 seasons, being a staple of SFP for a long long time

@Grapehead

Kalinpaa was traded for as a retiring rental. He definitely played for us in MIN lol.

He also played 150 games for Portland

The Story of Alex Light is just a few Hollywood special effects from being a blockbuster. Season 30, SMJHL Draft comes around and is picked 33rd overall. Struggles to adapt to the game for a season and falls down to 39th overall in the SHL Draft. It might not seem like a big drop but it was enough to shake up Light. Cue in the Eye of the Tiger during the off-season and kid is back with a vengeance. Reigns terror on the SMJHL for the next 2 seasons, lifting the cup both times. Perfect ending, right? Think again. Light is finally called up to the SHL. He’s made it to the big leagues. First season he gets crushed and is on the lower lines. Same for the 2nd & 3rd seasons down. Finally an opportunity to move up comes around as old players retire and some move out to free agency. Light is given the opportunity to shine and seizes it. Production doubles, slowly but surely, he takes more space in the room and matures. Ends up on a line with his idol, Mikko Linna, and they truck along. Eventually they win the cup in S41. Final twists occur as Linna gets traded and goes on to a rival team to win the cup the next season as well. Story Ends in S43 with Light, now captain of the Platoon, hoists the cup. Roll Credits.

This is the story of Monkey D. Luffy. The young newcomer quickly making a name for himself by being loud and confrontational among the biggest SHL draft, S46. Luffy quickly rose the ranks, scoring points and taking on many responsibilities that no other rookie would even bother to. On his rise, Luffy was bound to upset some of the old guard and that is what had happened. Some of the veterans didn't like all the noise Luffy was making but that didn't stop him from playing his game and being successful. Even with his outstanding season, Luffy was not nominated for the top rookie in the SMJHL. Could this be that he was not as good as he thought he was? Or was there more behind the scenes that was going against Luffy. Now with his rookie season done, it will be interesting to see where Luffy take his career moving forward. Will he continue to be the confrontational player he was or change his game to be more status quo?

Well going old school with this one, in a story that created myself, that doesn't involve myself. But it involves a retired Texas Legend and the face of a new expansion Franchise. Those two men were Jack Durden and Joe Kurczeweski and their love triangle with WWE SuperStar and the daughter of the 16-time World Champion and ultimate Legend Ric Flair, Charlotte Flair. Charlotte dates winners with good personalities and she immediately saw this Joe K after watching a Dragons game where Joe K was the main focal point of their win over the Blizzard. She was unable to see him after the game as he dealt with the media as well the SHL Schedule being a grueling one, but luckily they were able to meet at the WM33 After-Party as he went out of his way to help Charlotte take care of Ric, before they did the big thing and Charlotte considering it's the best thing that's happened to her life outside of wrestling. After Texas beat Calgary one season, things changed, Jack swooped in and took Charlotte away from Joe K. Which Joe K enlisted the help of the Shield, and well a bunch of beatdowns etc. and now Joe is back with Charlotte, as they both dominate their respective fields of sport.

The story of @Julio Tokolosh is a historic one. A story that will be the a subject of bar sporta trivia around the world. Today we go one on one with the player that broke numerous boundaries in hockey. Tokolosh is the first ever cow that has played in the SHL. His story began on a rural farm in the midwest. He was always an outcast during his childhood. While the other calves were busy grazing and sleeping, Julio was behind the barn shooting pucks trying to make his dream a reality. He was dissuaded from playing hockey throughout his life due to the social stigma of being an animal athlete. They feared he wouldn't be accepted in the locker room or by the media, but the story of Tokolosh is a story of courage, perseverance, and determination. Please join us as we go in depth with the spotted cow in "From the farm to the hockey barn: The Julio Tokolosh Story"

Rather than a dramatic retelling of events, I’d like to see a well-produced documentary made. Call it something like “The Ironmen of Hockey”. It would be a documentary that followed the careers of Alonzo Garbanzo, Kristian Eriksson, and Esa Anrikkanen. The way I see it in my head, it would track them each at the same point in time. Meaning it would start with probably just Esa, since he is the oldest, at the beginning of his hockey career. Early childhood probably, then once the others were old enough it would start tracking them. Following each side by side, year by year, until the Esa plays his final game. I like the idea of showing these 3 players because I think they are probably the 3 greatest players in SHL history, but each achieved that title in a very different way. I think it would be interesting to see how different and how alike they were throughout their careers.

Heart and Soul: The Nikolaus Scholz Story

The answer to the question of 'who deserves a Hollywood movie' is rather straight-forward. It absolutely has to be Nikolaus Scholz.

After being drafted in the second round to the then-promising Portland Admirals, Scholz began his career with a rather modest rookie campaign. However, in his sophomore season, he broke out with a 35 point campaign, only to follow up with a 47 point season in what would be his final season as an Admiral. Despite never wanting to leave, the tragedy that befell the organization forced a trade to the Edmonton Blizzard, a trade practically gift-wrapped to that organization thanks to long-standing personal relationships between management. Although he won a cup in his first season alongside his best friend Winston Windsor, his production dropped considerably. To some, he appeared as little more than a decent player on a shallow team who could no longer produce consistently due to having to share the puck more.

But, of course, that take was soon squashed. Scholz continued to develop and continued to gain more and more ice-time, quickly establishing himself as the superstar Portland fans remembered. Regularly notching over 40 points, and even going over 50 points on multiple occasions, Scholz ended his career with a remarkable 810 points (302 goals). He finally retired after winning his second Challenge Cup and solidifying himself as one of the greatest Blizzard players in history.

And really, that's the kind of story that makes for a good film. Whether it was on the ice or as a manager, Scholz was never the center of attention through personality alone. It took work, time, and even more work for him to get the credit he probably deserved beforehand. It would be difficult to call someone with his natural talent an underdog, but in a world full of loud personalities and self-promoting media darlings, Scholz offers us an example of how you can still carve yourself a great career without sacrificing the person you were in your humble beginnings. In short, the story of Niklaus Scholz is the story of a player who remained true to the core values that embody the sport of hockey, in a time when those seem to be washing away before our eyes.

Players around the world grow up dreaming of lifting a trophy above their heads. Players around the world grow up dreaming of winning individual awards. Players around the world grow up wishing they could have th type of impact that James Dekens has had to start his young career. Drafted 40th overall in the S39 SMJHL draft to the kelowna Knights, He would quickly become a key part in the Knights organization and help them win not one, not two, but three Four Start Cups, awarded to the SMJHL champions. After being drafted 30th overall in the S40 SHL draft to the Texas Renegades, he was flipped to Manhattan Rage where he would quickly remind everyone why he would be one of if the most over looked prosect of recent drafts. His first year playing pro with the rage in season 43 he put up 16 goals and 14 assists for 30 total points. Good enough for a nomination for the Jester award, which he won also. Not many players have that type of impact on the league.

The story of Nicholas Williams would be a very interesting one. Drafted in the middle rounds of the s42 SMJHL entry draft, he worked like a dog becoming one of the biggest members of the Scarecrows as they returned to form in s43. He was named captain, leading them to the finals and keeping his team in it by scoring point after point but unfortunately his goalie let him down. He led them back to the finals the year after, winning the cup and being called up to Winnipeg, a team that traded up to draft him in s43, and winning a cup there too, recording his first SHL goal in the playoffs of all places. He then struggled to find his place on an under performing Jets squad and left in free agency to an exciting new expansion team, where he is one of the biggest upcoming stars along his old friend and let down Aleister Cain.

I'd have to say that the story of the pre S30s New England Wolfpack would be an interesting tale to write a movie script for. Many know of the run that New England went during the early S30s and continued into the early S40s. However, many don't know of the inner troubles that was running rampant in New England before then. Relatively fresh off of their early S20s Challenge Cup victory, the team went into a mini rebuild and picked up a ton of talent that looking back now, would have formed easily the most dominant team of that era. Players like Lord Pretty Flacko, Jack Durden, and Buster Killington were players that were shipped out due to drama in the LR. But through the old vs new dramatic that was the New England Wolfpack, managed to bring in a brand new core that managed to win 3 Challenge Cups from players that were brought in to replace the old such as Mia Landvik, Jakob Tanner, Rider Clitsome.
