I can't think of a good reply here so here's my favorite applesauce recipe:

4 apples, (peeled / cored / chopped)
3/4 cup water (warm or cold, doesn't matter)
1/4 cup white (racist) sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (get the sticks and ground it yourself, that's the real shit)

In a saucepan, combine apples, water, sugar, and cinnamon (AKA all ingredients). Cover, and cook over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes, or until apples are soft... closer to 20 depending how big the apples are. Allow to cool, then mash with a fork or potato masher. (Don't be an asshole, potato mashers are like $5.. just get one).

Serve warm for best taste, or refrigerate for later. Don't freeze.

You tell the cinnamon sticks it's grounded, so it can't go anywhere.

Oh that's when the Quarterback throws the ball down into the ground.
They call it Intentional Grounding! Not to be confused with Spiking the Ball!
Also, It is not a foul if the passer is or has been outside the tackle box and throws the ball so that it crosses or lands beyond the neutral zone or neutral zone extended.
And then there’s an exception to the exception:
This applies only to the player who controls the snap or the resulting backward pass and does not relinquish possession to another player before throwing the forward pass.

So if it is Intentional it gets a pretty harsh penalty depending where the team is on the play of field.

1. The offense is penalized 10 yards from the line of scrimmage, or (in the NFL only) to the spot of the pass if that is less advantageous.
2. The offense loses the down rather than replaying the down, as is the case for most other penalties.
3. If the quarterback threw the pass from his team's own end zone, the penalty results in a safety being scored by the defense.
4. Like many offensive penalties, intentional grounding committed near the end of either half results in a ten second runoff  of the game clock, if the defense desires.
This ensures that intentional grounding is not an effective means of clock management.

Is this considered Irony or Ironic?
Most likely just Moronic!
