The thing I've found with Kendrick is his songs tend to grow on me. Swimming Pools and Backstreet Freestyle both did. The only one I really really loved since the first time I heard it was Sing About Me. I respect Kendrick's ability and think the album is great, just not one that I would consider a favorite or would have in my car's stereo na' mean? And Iunno I just wasn't feeling it, the first two minutes that is, when I heard it I was thinking it was gonna be rated a 3 or even lower but then the second beat came in and I found it to be much better. Kendrick is damn good and has a bright future fa sho. - Maxy - 02-06-2013 Quote:Originally posted by Spangify@Feb 5 2013, 10:00 PMI guess he didn't.... Pump it up :ssst: - Ochocinco - 02-06-2013 Quote:Originally posted by Maxy@Feb 6 2013, 11:54 AMNasty song. - Kyle - 02-07-2013 Joe Budden has the most ruthless line in rap history (that I've heard).. Verse starts at 1:16 -> Ruthless line at 1:41 - Spangle - 02-10-2013 Disappointed that Take Care won best rap album. Should've been Life Is Good or Undun. But, at least neither 2 Chainz or God Forgives, I Don't won. - Snappy - 02-10-2013 Quote:Originally posted by Spangify@Feb 10 2013, 07:17 PM Take Care >>> - BasedMinkus - 02-10-2013 Quote:Originally posted by Snappy@Feb 10 2013, 04:22 PM no. GKMC shoulda won, but out of the nominees, Life is Good - Lazgreg - 02-10-2013 Hoping frank wins AOTY - Ochocinco - 02-10-2013 Did you guys hear Fun.'s performance? I saw them live. Jesus Christ. - Spangle - 02-10-2013 Quote:Originally posted by BasedMinkus@Feb 10 2013, 07:39 PM GKMC wasn't eligible. Only eligible albums are from 10/1/11-9/30/12. GKMC will be up next year. - Spangle - 02-10-2013 Quote:Originally posted by Django@Feb 10 2013, 08:37 PM Yea, pretty bad, eh? - Snappy - 02-10-2013 Mumford and Sons were great. - Spangle - 02-12-2013 J. Cole da beast dropping off Truly Yours today. Shit is dope. - Spangle - 02-19-2013 One guy that I have actually not listened to before a ton was Ludacris. But, this past week, I changed that and listened to all of his albums. For fun, I rated each of them: Back for the First Time: 3.94/5 Word of Mouf: 4.05/5 Chicken-n-Beer: 3.9/5 The Red Light District: 4.22/5 Release Therapy: 4.16/5 Theater of the Mind: 4.09/5 Battle of the Sexes: 3.68/5 Average: 4.01/5 - Spangle - 02-20-2013 No songs and no Lil B in this thread, Dion. Remember your own Lil B thread. |
