One thing that would be cool to automated is Activity Checks. Like if you post on site in any given week you are automatically entered in for the Activity Check for that week. Now the claiming part would be something else. Maybe just have a spot on your profile to link.

Honestly automatic PT grading. I know how tough it can be to hit grading windows as a grader myself but sometimes things are 2-3 weeks into the season that should be done before the season even starts. Automation would mean that the day after a PT closes we're getting a claim.

I’m not sure how feasible this would be, but automating pt grading - to whatever extent possible - would be extremely beneficial for the site. I cannot imagine how much work the PT graders have to do to make sure everyone is meeting their requirements.

Obviously the best thing we could automate in the SHL is the Draft. Have a random number generator assign each prospect a number from 1-10000 and then each draft pick is take from the highest value to the lowest in order. This will truly improve the league.

I am not really what to say here. Therefore I think we should automate complaining about HO posts. Think of the time it would save in so many peoples lives if they didn't have to spend hours bitching about decisions by HO and just had a computer to do it for them. I AM A GENIUS

I love the banking system & if there was a way to do automatic point task claiming I think that would be the best thing. It would make updating a lot quicker & not having to go hunt for your stuff would be nice.

Fudge if I know what could help the league but automation is awesome and can help save so much time and energy for countless of things, even outside the SHL. Due to automation we must adapt a universal base income system but that’s a story for a PT not a mPT

Automation for updates would make the world a better place, because it would make everyones job so much easier and so much cleaner. Maybe one day we will live in a world where we can automate updating and make life easier.

I remember being excited as the thought that automated updates/claiming was going to be a thing. Being a much older user now, I still think that would be the dream. The less that needs to be remembered in terms of claims and hunting for what TPE that I can have, the better. This applies across any league.

HO decisions should be automated since they already are tone deaf and don't care about people's emotions. Might as well have actual robots do the job

PT’s should be automized, meaning that we shouldn’t have to do them and it should be free TPE for everyone one. Yes that is my golden idea.

It’s probably a common response here, but definitely updating. I get caught in a vicious cycle where updating takes too long so I put it off, then it gets harder. The update assistant definitely helps a bit, but I still have to crawl through the claim thread to copy over every name, link, and value. Seems like we are only missing a short hop since we have bots which can parse the claim thread for updates and post team filtered earnings.
I think the most feasible approach is for the claim threads to trigger updates to a player’s banked TPE, then the updates are to add any additional earnings + spending the banked TPE. The hardest part there would be managing the real time updates alongside the manual updates. How does someone know their real time banked TPE when posting their update, and what happens if that number changes after they’ve made their post? (Theoretically it can only increase, so it may just leave some banked TPE on the table for them when their update is processed)

While not at all feasible, automatic simming would be cool to see for the league. The whole structure of the league has always been so reliant on the few individuals crazy and dedicated enough to devote themselves to simming and with FHM that balance has gotten significantly more fragile.

I want to echo the similar suggestions regarding the calendar. As a newer player it took me some time to locate an actual schedule that wasn't empty or inaccurate. Having the calendar on the forum display a live updating sheet that all GM's and teams can refer to would be lovely.
