Submitting updates already has a decent boost with the update assistant, but I think it could be better. A little more automation could take it to a whole other level.

Automatic PT claiming system, duh. I hate having to hop on the site for 30 minutes (that's a lot of time, you know) and actually typing in words and numbers. It's awful.

Automatic updating would be incredible. I'm lazy as fuck (everyone knows this), but it would be super nice that I wouldn't have to grab all of my own shit and compile them to update and it would just be done automatically for me. A boy can dream, though.

As an updater I think it'd be great if there was more automation to creating updates. Some sort of form you fill out and when you're done it spits out an update for you to copy. In a perfect world it would only list PT claims you are eligible for claiming. This would be beneficial not only for me as an updater but the user as well. They'd be able to see all the claims available to them so none get missed, and they wouldn't be able to claim something they can't or already have.

Automated GMing would be nice. Having an AI that could just manage through a rebuild while you get some sleep would be truly revolutionary in my opinion

I think pretty much the entire site. Player creation, player updating, claiming TPE, grading TPE. There's a ton we can do through automation and I hope to be a part of the team doing that automation in the future!

I think a great improvement would be how to do season predictions or playoff predictions. Sometimes when i get to the end of divison winners and conference champs i get confused and im not confident im picking the same as i put in my rankings.

I'd talk with PBE on how they automated PT claims in two ways - by making a bot to format claims easiwe by taking existing stats from the player's profile page and by rolling up all the PT claims into one weekly claim. For SHL, that would roll up PT, mPT, 3-on-3 and Primetime into one weekly post. While I like that for PBE, I understand if it's not ideal for SHL given how those tasks are all under different schedules for locking, grading, and releasing.

One thing that I think should be automated now is the updating of players. Too much effort is spent making sure that the correct number of TPE is added to builds, would just be easier to automatically deposit TPE into a player account so that we don't have to do the game of figuring out how much you are allowed to claim

Updating is the clear opportunity for a huge improvement process through automation, as well as validation of player builds in FHM. If there can be automated claiming and applying TPE, that'd be immensely helpful.

Already seen it mentioned, but it would be cool to have some sort of system where you could click a button on any post in the claim thread, and it somehow automatically links the claim and TPE to your update page

Claiming and distributing TPE would be so much better if we didnt have to do the claims at all, and the graders would dump TPE in a bucket to spend on your stats. The act of claiming through a post does nothing for the site or experience and just feels like doing taxes.
