Okay so this is gonna be an 'outside the box' response but I feel like it's not my place to tell my GM or AGM who to go get even if I am the Captain of the Zerks. There is always a reason that I am wrong and that the chemistry of the room would be affected and I don't want that on my shoulders. I trust in my GM and AGM to get us folks who will let us get to the next level without my input.

If I were Detroit, I'd be looking to dump Teemu Salami for a bag of skittles. The third-year forward has struggled to get anything going this season, scoring just six goals while shooting 6.8%.

Chicago trade Lime at the deadline, aka Steve Harrington, because while he's a great player and member of the locker room he brings a veteran presence that a playoff team would really benefit from having in their lineup and we're rebuilding so we could use the picks.

Treat this as an opportunity like expansion where nobody knows where any one is to go, except you barely have any time to think about it. Everyone switches teams! What an exciting league... for a few days before the dust settles and everyone realizes they got ripped off or ripped someone else off.

If I were the Philadelphia Forge, I would probably look to sell Gnabe Dabson. Honestly, quite surprised we are at the TDL with him still being on the roster. We're crushing it in Texas this season, but the GM has one clear move to make. Upgrade on the rookie defenceman on the 3rd pairing and bring in a good, solid vet to solidify the back end and really push for a championship.

Walt "Clyde" Frazier is the third line center for the New Orleans Specters. Therefore, it seems obvious that the first and second line centers need to be moved as soon as possible. It is only fair.

I think out of the teams on the brink of tipping one way or another, the days of reckoning are close at hand for Philly and New England. Their stars are aging, and while they may not be at a point to sell this season, I think they'll be there next season and it wouldn't hurt either of them to be early at the table now that Minny is mostly divested. I could see buyers being Baltimore and San Francisco; teams who have been steadily building but aren't quite to the powerhouse level yet.

Nobody should look to panic sell in my honest opinion as that is a good way to get robbed. That said I also don't think anyone should look to add at this point as unit cohesion is too important to interrupt in the back nine. Basically no movement should be made and everyone should just proceed as they are currently. Thank you.

Every team should just take one random player and pass it to their right, entirely for the chaos and not at ALL for any sort of help or hindrance. Obviously it would more likely than not be a net negative for everyone, but that's not my problem.
