This season the Pride are gonna use Roar by Katy Perry as their goal song, because why the fuck not go full on cliche. It's not a great song, but when has that ever stopped a hockey team?

I started thinking what kind of goal song we should have in Texas. First thing that got into my mind was old song called Renegade which I ended up ditching after listening it. After that I started to think what stereotypically could fit Texas but decided that gunshots wouldn't be really in good taste. So back to metal we go, Kuoliaaksi ruoskitut hevoset, it is a song which I feel fits well with renegades and their menacing side, which ofcourse is harder for most to confirm because of the language.

I think the goal song/effect for the Berserkers should be something that is just annoying to hear and has a maximum cringe factor. I suggest the ol "Fingernails on a Chalkboard" sound.

The Vancouver Whalers should be using Brass Bonanza. I feel like this is pretty self-explanatory and it’s a bit annoying that they aren’t already. C’mon. Any team that’s named “Whalers” and uses green and blue colors is already taking a lot of inspiration from the Hartford Whalers anyways, so the fact that they’re not even taking one of the best parts about the team is disappointing. Maybe I’m a bit biased...but still.

The Dragons have been using the Ghana pallbearers coffin dance song as a goal song since the playoffs and it's been a lot of fun. For this task I'll choose a different song though. How about some old school Metallica - Jump in the Fire! Seems fitting for the Dragons.

Buffalo could have a goal song that fits the theme of the team, something like buffalo charging or a herd of buffalo running towards people. Much like the Stampede is gonna charge towards that 1st position in the East to get that sweet Challenge Cup.

For goal songs, which is you have been paying attention, are required early and often at Detroit games, is very simple. Detroit Rock City by KISS. Fits the need, gets the crowd excited, great song.

Texas teams are often stereotyped into using "Deep in the Heart of Texas" for everything. However, I think that's ridiculously overplayed, so I'll go with a song dear to MY heart that fits in more with our specific team - "Renegade" by Styx.

The Baltimore Platoon need to adopt the Colonel Bogey March as their goal song.
There are three reasons why.First off, it's recognizable and catchy. People love to hear something they already know. Second, it's somewhat anticlimactic and non-celebratory. It has a real "let's get back to work" kind of vibe. It shows that blue collar spirit hockey loves to talk about. Yes, we scored and that's great-- but our job is not done. Third, it slaps.

the wolfpack will be using the legendary Ding Dong Song by Gunther because I think it celebrates everything that's great about us and i feel like this is the home town energy we're trying to exude as a team. opposing fans will hate it but the proud boston faithful will embrace it.

Let's be honest here, there is only one band that could properly represent the Wolfpack with a goal song. ONLY ONE BAND. That band could only be the boys from Boston, the one, the only DROPKICK MURPHY'S. So what classic DKM song should be chosen? Now that's a toss up between either I'm Shipping Up To Boston or The State Of Massachusetts. Both songs feature a very iconic rift that would be easily recognized.
Now as to a goal song for the Armada, I do agree with @Clean Andrei Kostitsyn about Alestorm. But instead of F*d With An Anchor, I'm thinking something a little more family friendly and recognizable. Let's say somewhere around 1:10 to 1:18.
I'm just going to throw this one out there, even though I'm totally unaffiliated with The Scarecrows, because I think it would be cool as all.
