The claiming and updating process could certainly do with some more automation. While Discord bots help, having to search through a forum post to find your results is draining and an automated google sheet would be more preferable.

Your task: What portion of the site would be improved greatly with a little bit of automation? We already saw the banking get a huge boost from this, what other areas? Activity checks, claiming PTs, submitting updates, trolling someone every time they post anything, the world is your robotic oyster.I think getting automated updates would be interesting. To have a bot scrape all your available TPE and gives you a list of it all with the amount you earned. All you would have to do is distribute it into the attributes you want.

A few seasons ago Luke was responsible fo moving all the free agents into a section at the end of the season. This made things easier and clearer for GM's. At the moment it isn't being done so it would be good if there was a bot that could do it for us.

Create a player personal page where the PT team can apply 'funds' to the player each week that they tend can spend on their own player creation page - apply - then that update gets sent to the update team.
Saves so much typing and errors.

I think that automating TPE claims would be huge. Instead of linking to a claim thread in your update, you could just have your TPE sent to a TPE bank. Then you use your TPE bank to apply TPE to attributes!

The best thing to make automatic is updating. It would make everything so easy if you could just automatically get your points in and then just add points to your attributes with a click.

I remember seeing something like this on the race car sim league I dabbled in once upon a time. Things like AC's, training and task claims were in a "store" and you can add them to your cart. Once you check out that TPE is now available to you to use as you wish on your build. I think something like that would be neat. Also a regression tool would be handy.

Honestly I really like the VHL's app. It makes updating, regression, store purchases, etc, really simple. I'd love to see the SHL mimic that instead of the hodgepodge borderline-catastrophe it is to make sense of all the different nickle-and-diming TPEs earned.

Activity checks and weekly coaching would be great to automate. If our player update pages had a stricter format then maybe its possible to log an activity check and have your update page automatically update.

I feel like the easiest answer is to say that claiming TPE from PTs and ACs would be the best use of automation. Updating is such a slog. It's definitely, 100%, completely the only reason I didn't reach 2000TPE. No other reason at all.

if yall could put everyone that earned tpe in a new sheet for each task as the tpe is awarded, we could figure out an easy way to just have people input their username and output all of the tasks that have been completed.

probably updating if I'm being honest, there are multiple leagues that already have automated updates, and it's working very well. It would definitely help reduce any possible mistakes in the future.
