RE: S54 WFT #1 - Goal Songs - Huck24 - 05-29-2020 I'd like to hear a slightly modified track for our goal song in New Orleans. I want to get a recording of 'New Orleans in Sinking' by the Tragically Hip, but with a couple of different lyrics. The actual songs chorus is, "New Orleans is sinking man, and I don't want to swim" I'd like the new lyrics to say "New Orleans just scored a goal, and I just want a win!". It's somewhat of a catchy song and something I think the fans would get behind. RE: S54 WFT #1 - Goal Songs - acdangel - 05-29-2020 For a goal song for New England, I'd like to propose "Let's Get Fucked Up" by the Cramps. Why? Because - like scoring goals - it's generally something fun to do. hiymom pld @Zomp RE: S54 WFT #1 - Goal Songs - jjlangabeer - 05-29-2020 Well just joined my new team and still getting my feet wet but I feel like you can never go wrong with some old school Jock Jams! they are always some classics. RE: S54 WFT #1 - Goal Songs - DrunkenTeddy - 05-29-2020 For Hamilton's goal song I'd have to recommend a song that exemplifies their really strong back end and goaltending situation. Sir Mix-A-Lot's Baby Got Back should do the trick. RE: S54 WFT #1 - Goal Songs - Zaitsev - 05-29-2020 Currently playing for the Kraken so I'll go with them. I think the perfect goal song for Carolina given the lore of the Kraken would be something like the theme song for Pirates of Carribbean. RE: S54 WFT #1 - Goal Songs - takethehorizon - 05-29-2020 The Kelowna Knights S54 goal song should be New Noise by Refused. It's been a staple on my workout playlist since I began lifting in high school and jacks everyone up who listens. The song will begin right before the refrain (which is the best part) and will bring the KEL crowd to it's feet. Please start the below video at the 2:18 mark which will be the start of the goal song. RE: S54 WFT #1 - Goal Songs - Mediocre_Fred - 05-29-2020 This one is pretty easy if you play for Tampa. The obvious choice is the best one in this case and that is Barracuda by Heart. Great song, upbeat, and it has got the name of the team right in the song. Plus, everyone already knows the song as an established certified "awesome" song, so you aren't going to have very many people claiming it's bad or whatever. RE: S54 WFT #1 - Goal Songs - Mayuu - 05-29-2020 Buffalo lies in the land of John Deere, so what better way to celebrate a then with a song made for the farmers that feed our country? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jag7oTemldY RE: S54 WFT #1 - Goal Songs - wumaduce - 05-29-2020 The New England Wolfpack will get a seasonal song. During the month of October, their goal song will be Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon. The rest of the season it'll be The Humpty Dance by The Wolfpac. RE: S54 WFT #1 - Goal Songs - MrStennett - 05-29-2020 The goal song for the St. Louis Scarecrows should definitely be The Monster Mash, just so that everyone can see Hayes the Scarecrow's sweet ass dance moves. I hear he does a mean robot! RE: S54 WFT #1 - Goal Songs - Nokazoa - 05-29-2020 For Vancouver, They obviously need to use Dory speaking whale and to end it with a gunshot to symbolize the Whalers killing the whale they lured with Dory's call. RE: S54 WFT #1 - Goal Songs - Zombiewolf - 05-29-2020 For the Tampa Bay Barracuda their song should be Doomsday by the Architects. This is because being on the Barracuda sounds like a doomsday scenario because of the giant hole they have to rebuild out of. RE: S54 WFT #1 - Goal Songs - Duff101 - 05-29-2020 I have a little insider information in this because I made Colorado's goal horn. I actually originally made 2 versions, one for FHM and an extended version for the lulz that included a song. It uses the original prototype T-rex roar which was replaced with the raptor noise. The original song was Walk The Dinosaur by Was (Not Was) Here it is. RE: S54 WFT #1 - Goal Songs - Rich - 05-29-2020 Almost nothing I listen to would make a good goal song. I had to go digging before I found something that might sort of work. Any team could use it, it doesn't have a theme that would make sense. I'll throw it at my old juniors team, Carolina. The song is Best Clockmaker on Mars, by Sturgill Simpson. Really cool song on a really interesting album, I dig it. Maybe someone else will click the link and will have never heard it before, and they'll dig it too. The part that I think might work starts at around 0:25. Link RE: S54 WFT #1 - Goal Songs - honkerrs - 05-29-2020 I'm really surprised no West coast hockey team yet has tried to fit in a ska song somehow into their goal song. I feel like someone could think of a good one like All My Best Friends Are Metalheads or of course Superman. Think it'd really get the crowd going, gotta create those in game moshes |
