Hello everyone and thank you for tuning into this very important announcement regarding the future of the Baltimore Platoon captaincy. To start out, I’d like to give a quick shoutout to the S53 inaugural FHM season champions, the Hamilton Steelhawks. With that out of the way, let’s get BAP to the Platoon news.
With the season quickly approaching, we’ve once again held a captains vote to determine who will wear the letters. With the departures we’ve seen in the past few seasons, the captaincy has begun to reflect that. With the new guard replacing old and time taking its toll on our former mainstays, we’ve got a new group to face the spotlight.
To start, we will begin with our alternates.
For our first Alternate, we have a new face gracing our leadership team. He’s been a strong and consistent presence since he was drafted and he brings a level head to the table whenever he steps forward. He’s a guy who will always do his best to ensure the team and himself prosper.
Our first Alternate is, Karl Krashwagen @CementHands
Our second alternate is a much newer addition to the roster however has been a friend to the team the whole way. He’s a steadfast and dependable defender who’s willing to put up a couple points. One of the most consistent voices in the locker room and probably the best Siege player we’ve got. Welcome back to the team and enjoy the A, Geoff Moore @Leppish
Finally it’s come down to our Captain. He’s a top tier competitor and his food will never stop making me hungry. He’s a long standing member of the team starting in his 8th season since being drafted and I can’t say JR could have made a better pick. He’s a pillar of optimism and is always putting a good foot forward despite the odds be it playoffs, preseason or the reg. There’s no better choice to be leading the players in both this time of strife and in preparation for a big S54 for the Platoon, congratulations to Nat Emerson @Thelastheraclid
Congratulations to the S54 BAPtaincy group, we have the utmost faith in you guys and can’t wait to see where this next season brings us. The future is bright in Baltimore and it isn’t just because of Summer. LET'S GO PLATOON!
