Make like reduced salaries and stuff so it can be done but if they kept the old system everything would be fine because the rl NHL trade deadline is great is bc the cap space not spent during the off-season grows from things like People being on LTIR or Other trades and transactions earlier in the season.

I think they're fine as is! But to be honest, I don't know much about the process of player trading at all. I imagine it gets frustrating or annoying to think about. But maybe that's part of the fun for the GMs?

I think with how our league is set up, it is hard to try and force mid-season moves between teams. Beyond the personal aspect of the SHL, there is a lot of voodoo about team chemistry and composition.

     

I don't think there is really anything that can be done to encourage more trades during trade deadline. It is simply just the GMs decisions if they deem their team needs more stars for a cup push.

A busy deadline would be cool in theory but there's really no way to make it work players just don't wanna get moved mid season

I mean currently its fine as it is, any changes would have far reaching reprecussions to the rest of the league and how it operates on a day to day basis

teams should market themselves as destinations more compared to the traditional way of recruiting people to their team, maybe if a trade is about to be put in place, discuss it with the active users because the last thing you would want is to be traded to Minnesota
