The time has finally come that we would like to branch out some of our recruitment areas and we feel a proper 30 second to 1 minute video will do us wonders in helping promote the site. Our last contest for recruitment graphics went so amazingly we are hoping to have the same luck now.
Task: Make a recruitment video for the site between 30 seconds and 1 minute long. Include whatever you like but it must come off in a way that promotes the site.
Payout:
1st Place: $15 million
2nd Place: $10 million
3rd Place: $8 million
All other submissions that did not place will be submitted normally for grading and paid out 1.5x the normal amount. Video grading scale
Now the payout is fairly large on this because we feel it's incredibly important and on top of that a video isn't the easiest thing in the world to make. HOWEVER, recruitment team will hold the final say on what gets a placement and only submissions we feel are worthy enough will get a placement. If we do not have enough submissions that we feel that put in effort and are deserving of a placement then they will be submitted with the other submissions for grading and we will not pay out all the placements. Simply put we won't just be rewarding any users who throw something in just because there aren't a lot of submissions hoping to get an easy 3rd place etc...
Due Date: Because it's videos and we feel it's important we want to give everyone plenty of time to work on it. On top of which, it's early in the season and we have time.
Due July 25th 11:59 PM Easter Time. That gives everyone an entire month to work on this.
Submit all videos for the tournament to me @thedangazone or on discord TheDangaZone#4346
If you have any questions you can ask any member of the recruitment team and we would be more than happy to answer them.
With the graphics contest coming to an end it is finally time to announce our winners for this. We knew the task of creating a recruitment video would be a fairly large one and on top of that most users probably wouldn't have the skill set or desire to learn how to do it. Hence we were not surprised to only have two submissions into the contest. What we were pleasantly surprised with though is that both videos were everything we wanted in this contest and we plan on using both videos in the future. I want to think both @"Geekusoid" and @Amidships for their work on these. Both videos were absolutely fantastic and the team is so thankful for your work.
The voting was very close but in the end we awarded geekusoid the win.
I would once again like to congratulate both our winners and thank them for their hard work. Both of these excellent videos should hopefully go a long way to helping us in the recruitment team in future recruitment efforts. <3 I will have your payouts out today.
