Howdy, everyone. It's that time of the season again
As with every season, we have 2 SMJHL Intern positions available, each with a term of 1 season. For this position, applicants selected will be the primary people responsible for approving incoming new players, notifying newly created players of immediate build recommendations when necessary, and announcing approved players to our SMJHL GMs. Applicants in their submitted applications should explain who they are, why they are applying, what skills or experience they bring to the table, and a confirmation or explanation of their ability to approve new players. Massive thanks to our intern @Jexter for their fantastic work this season, definitely picked up the slack and took care of things in a timely manner! As for J HO, this season we have 5 available positions. We will be hiring for the positions of Fuzz, TDZ, Mr. President, Faelax, & Schwarz. While they are welcome to reapply, some have already informed us they will not be returning. We'd like to thank all of them for their countless hours spent in J HO regardless of if they're returning or not, and wish them the best of luck with their future endeavors. An important note, one of these positions will be hired for a single season term, to even out J HO back to a 4/4 hiring cycle starting next season with hiring an 8th member. Those applying for SMJHL HO should be willing to be responsible for constant discussion on maintaining and improving the Juniors league. This includes developing ideas on how to improve the J, clarifying the rule book when necessary, running the SMJHL draft, and other administrative tasks that arise. Applicants should detail their interest in how they think the J could improve and how they wish to follow through on those ideas, alongside providing any past experiences you might have that would help your application.
