Tracking Spreadsheet SHL S48 Game 167 - MAN @ TEX SHL Game 167 Advanced Taterlytics Report: Posessor: Logan Jensen @Loganjj21 Team: Texas Renegades Victim: N/A Team: Manhattan Rage Time: N/A Total possession time: 1:00:00 Hot po-take-to: Another on-par game for Logan Jensen. He appears to have fallen in a rut with his performance. His face-off percentage was an even 50% again, he took a couple shots with no points, and took a couple hits with no physical retaliation. Either things are getting dire for the 3rd-line center or he wants to keep the Hot Potato for himself. SHL S48 Game 176 - NOR @ TEX SHL Game 176 Advanced Taterlytics Report: Posessor: Logan Jensen @Loganjj21 Team: Texas Renegades Victim: N/A Team: New Orleans Specters Time: N/A Total possession time: 1:00:00 Hot po-take-to: This game had a similar story to the Renegades game versus Manhattan, but with less shots on goal and no hits taken. Perhaps, much like the One Ring was attracted to Smeagol, the Hot Potato decided to settle with a mediocre physical presence to lay low and avoid attention by the potato thief, @ SHL S48 Game 183 - TEX @ WKP SHL Game 183 Advanced Taterlytics Report: Posessor: Logan Jensen @Loganjj21 Team: Texas Renegades Victim: Nat Emerson @Thelastheraclid Team: West Kendall Platoon Time: 14:00 of 3rd period Total possession time: 54:00 Hot po-take-to: Jensen was affected by the Hot Potato even more this game. He only had 2 shot attempts and neither made it to the goaltender, much less the goal. His ability to get rid of the Hot Potato even seemed lost yet again until a certain Nat Emerson came on ice. Logan was so comfortable with the fact that he wasn't going to lose the Potato that he left it on his team's net and Nat (being attracted to things that sound like his first name) went to the net and stumbled on the Hot Potato. Logan was suspicious and came over to see what was going on. They exchanged some words, and it looked like Logan wanted to eat Nat. Perhaps having the Hot Potato so long had driven him mad and possessive. They agreed to an exchange of riddles, with whoever winning getting a claim on Nat's life, and although some couldn't be understood (there was a hockey game going on around them, after all), a few were overheard: On the land, In the sea, Sneaking slowly, Doomed to flee. What's a notion everyone sees, Makes watchers buzzing bees, Up, up it goes, And yet never grows? After each one passed the other's riddles, Nat was able to escape, sneakily swiping the Hot Potato while Logan looked frantically for it around the net. Logan was heard screaming, "Emerson! Platoon!" as Nat left. I don't know what to make of this, but it appeared that Nat was the new possessor of the Hot Potato. SHL Game 183 Advanced Taterlytics Report: Posessor: Nat Emerson @Thelastheraclid Team: West Kendall Platoon Victim: N/A Team: Texas Renegades Time: N/A Total possession time: 11:00 Hot po-take-to: Nat Emerson is a 3rd-line defenseman for the West Kendall Platoon. Emerson gets decent ice time, but doesn't produce a whole lot this game. In the late end of the 3rd period, he survived a game of riddles with the Hot Potato possessor and escaped with the Potato himself. I guess he was attracted to it somehow, or the Hot Potato decided it was time to leave Logan Jensen, who seemed to be wanting to keep it as long as he could. For whatever reason, Nat is now the possessor of the Hot Potato. Nat has the highest checking aptitude on the Platoon, so expect him to be able to pass the Potato on quickly. Perhaps this is why the Potato attracted him so much, to latch on to an active hitter so it can see action again. |
