Maxy is right about the "Gher" being as in burger.
About "Per", no definitive pronunciation. If you base yourself on the Brazilian-Portuguese alphabet it should be as in "Pair", but is natural to lean towards "pur" and I'd consider that correct.
It's also just a variation of "Berger", which apparently means "da guy from da hillz" in German.
