Rules + Grading System Everybody read this
#1

Since I'm the new GFX grader, I'll be implementing a new system, which gives you TPE rather than $$$.

Rules:
-Must submit two sigs for one week
-HALF OF THE TPE WILL BE UNCAPPED
-Cannot use the same sig twice
-Must be original (no copying)
-You must post a message saying "CLAIM" after I grade your GFX

Grading System:

Signature 1:

Effort: x/5
Look: x/5

Total: x/10

Signature 2:

Effort: x/5
Look: x/5

Total: x/10

PT Total: x/10

20 – 17.5 = 4 TPE (2 Capped, 2 Uncapped)
17 – 14.5 = 3 TPE (2 Capped, 1 Uncapped)
14 – 11.5 = 2 TPE (1 Capped, 1 Uncapped)
11 – 5.5 = 1 TPE (1 Capped)
5 – 0 = 0 TPE

Example:

Yes. It is monday, the start of a new SHL week.

Once you've reached your PT cap, are you still allowed to submit for the uncapped points?

Yes, that was why I included the Uncapped part. I didn't want people who had already hit their Cap to miss out.

Yes

Does that not sound slightly unbalanced to you? This will become a constant source of uncapped TPE for a handful of members.

I'll grade extra hard Wink Or, I could reduce the number from x/6 to x/4.

I'm just saying it makes no sense. You don't get TPE for media articles, why should you for graphics? I'd propose to make it fair for those who dislike writing PTs, you offer a graphics PT that is worth the equivalent TPE for every writing PT that is posted. Otherwise this is a weekly PT with uncapped TPE that not every member is able to participate in.

Well to be fair, I would actually prefer if we make a TPE scale for articles based on word count, but that is just my opinion. But, every system is going to have its kinks and stuff. btw, Spangle did give me the go-ahead on this

I just think it hasn't been thought through well enough. You can't give TPE for graphics and then not for articles.

Maybe just make it out of 2.

Changed to x/4 scale

what happened to all the other unpaid weeks??????

I also think PTE for GFX is unfair. should stay a cash reward, like articles.
