S54 WFT #1 - Goal Songs

I think i speak for everyone when i say that "Barracuda" by Heart is both the lowest hanging fruit AND the best fruit on the tree

The New Orleans Specters new goal song is going to be 10 seconds straight of yours truly, Mika Mayfield, playing a C above the staff on her shiny silver trumpet.

Going really original here, but I'd pick the song "Renegades" by the X Ambassadors for the Texas Renegades. Such a great song and you know the fans would get jumping around when it starts blaring over the speakers.

i really liked the Los Angeles Panthers troll goal horn against New Orleans Specters, with the idiotic meme Slash made about their line-up cheat. I would only like to have it played for the games against them though. Otherwise i really enjoy the mennään pojat song,

There are so many great goal horn songs that can be used for the Chicago Syndicate. I think I will propose that the team uses Chi- City by Common to pump up the Chi-town when the team scores a goa!

I'm going to pick the Toronto North Stars since I'm around there and a fan of the city. You obviously have to have a Drake song bangin to represent the city. Something like 6 God would be my choice.

Falcons Canada

What the most played song in Boston sports? That would be Shipping Up to Boston by Dropkick Murphys, it's played at every Boston sporting event so why not go all the way and make it the official goal song of the Wolfpack.

in my opinion Bulls On Parade by Rage Against The Machine makes way too much sense to not be the answer. you got the ties to Manhattan’s logo AND team name in one. and i mean its got a pretty powerful intro thats sure to get anyone hyped.

I think welcome to the jungle is an obvious pick for Los Angeles. It's the type of song with enough electricity to get the people going and that's what a goal song is all about

The obvious pick for the Manhattan Rage is anything by Rage Against the Machine. Hell, we started using #RageAgainst in the middle of our S53 championship run. I'd personally pick "Bulls on Parade" since we're now running with the bull logo. Boom. Twofer.

I purpose the song Hakuna Matata for the San Francisco Pride goal song. I'm sure there are better choices, but they would likely already have been chosen. When I think of the Pride, I think of Lions and the Lion King after that, so why not pick a popular song from the movie? I also believe The Lion Sleeps Tonight would be a good song to play after a Pride win.

The Vancouver Whalers theme song would be a song called start a riot by Duckwrth and Shaboozey. It's a very amped up song that would hype up not only the fans, but also the players at the same time. The lyrics:

Who in here tryna start a riot?
(Woo, let's start a riot, yeah)
Who in here tryna start a riot?
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, let's go)

If you REALLY try to listen to the bolded words, it sounds like a mad whale Whalers

Here's the link to where you can KINDA hear it. Also, I really like the song.

I think the goal song of the Detroit Falcons should be Welcome to Detroit City by Trick Trick featuring Eminem. The song just bumps, and is a good intro for the team to pump them up and to make it hard on the other team.

The goal song for the Manhattan Rage should honestly be just any song by Rage Against the Machine. I personally would use Bulls On Parade as, well, their mascot seems to be a bull.

The Anchorage Armada should use "Warrior Song - Leviathan" by Sean Householder. It is inherently noble to risk everything, from your health to your life, to fight in service of your country. For a military town like Anchorage, which has the highest amount of army veterans in the USA, I think it would be more than appropriate to use this as their song. Not only that but the lyrics can also be used to discuss the Armada's history in the league:

Forged in the fire lit long ago
Stand next to me, you'll never stand alone
Last to leave but the first to go
Lord Under Weigh is the only way I know

This could be used in reference to how the Armada started as the Prince Albert Firebirds and how the Armada reflects the nature of the city they call home. No excuses for anything, no training session or game. If you are an Armada player and you stand with your fellow men, you will never stand alone
