“Pasta Del Vecchio” is a brand-new cooking show coming to you live on YouTube, with Luca Del Vecchio at the helm of an outlandish cast of sports celebrities cooking all sorts of wild dishes. From making your own pasta from scratch, to sauces, seasonings and the lot, to wine pairings, etiquette, tips and tricks to impress your guests, Luca reveals it all. Currently one of the trending channels, Luca has shown us how to make perfect tortellini, ravioli, as well as his homemade pesto sauce recipe.

With Baltimore Platoon captain, Nat Emerson ( @Thelastheraclid ) coming on the show as the very first guest, the two experimented live with Korean-Italian fusion cuisine, mixing Bolognese sauce with gochugaru, all the way to making a bulgogi pizza. The reactions have been wild, both positively and negatively.

Episode 3 will be airing on June 24th, with guest player, Yoshimitsu McCloud ( @Thunfish ), in what promises to be a wild Japanese-Italian-Irish mish-mash of flavours.

Anders cooking show would be called Norwegian Grilling. It would be a show that has both hunting and cooking elements to it. In the first half of the show, Anders will be joined by a prominent Norwegian hunter and they will go into the wilderness together to find a different animal to hunt in every episode. They would start with the animals that are traditionally hunted in Norway like moose, red deer and reindeer and they will move on to smaller animals in later episodes like grouse, ptarmigan, mountain hare, beaver, duck and goose. In the second half of the show, Anders will be joined by a different Norwegian chef every week in his own backyard. From there, they will use Anders barbecue grill and a small amount of common ingredient with which the chef will show Anders how to cook the meat of different animals properly. The show would end up with Anders, the hunter and the chef eating the food.

Scoochie definitely loves to find all the food challenges in his home town and in Anchorage. He also enjoys the classic Diners, Drive-ins and Dives not only because of the great hair of the show but also because of the hidden gems that could be found with the best food. Therefore if he got the opportunity to start his own cooking show it would be him driving in a badass car around Anchorage going to find where all the locals rave about or where there is some sort of prize for eating a certain kind of food. I feel like this would be one of those fun "behind the scenes with the team" shows that the local Armada writer could help organize to show off the player's personalities. Scoochie could be the main player always there but would be fun to bring in a new player each week to get their different perspectives on the hidden gems they find or the competition foods available in Anchorage.

TV Show name: Emiko's Cooking Corner

What type(s) of food will they cook? : We would basically make lots of random foods without even thinking about it. It would run a bit like ready steady cook. Like for example the guests would bring the food in and we'd try to make something out of it. So every film is completely differently.

Will they invite on any special guests?: The guests would change every episode. We would have a some in-house chefs that can help the guests make the food. The Guest would work as the main chef though and the in-house chef would only do what they are told.

Describe the show: It would start with Emiko welcoming the audience and would welcome the guests for that week. After that we'd have the audience vote for which of the items they would prefer. After that the final thing is the Guest cookign something with Emiko and the inhouse chef, the ingredients would be brought in by Emiko and she'd let the Guest do whatever they like and what would happen. Guests would be players from the SHL & PBE mainly. Honestly, this would be an interesting concept but it may not get past the pilot if they don't get someone fun. So for the first Guest they'd have the PBE player Bill Bisquick & SHL Player Jon Forty-One.

Michael Fox had always dreamt of becoming a hockey superstar, but no one has just one dream. Michael's second love was, and still is, cooking. As he grew up, though, there grew another love for Fox, one that had once worried scouts but has since been quelled by the success of this third love: mixology. Michael Fox, unbeknownst to most of the league, has a quite successful YouTube series called "Fox'd Up", a series in which Michael Fox dives into the history of different cocktails before ultimately recreating both the original recipe and his own variation. When Fox first started this series, most his age were partying and losing focus of what was truly meaningful. Instead of following down their paths, Fox used his free time (come on, everyone needs a little bit of a break from hockey at least a little each day) to research famous cocktails and, off the suggestion of a persuasive ex, started his own YouTube series.

Barry Batsbak's cooking show will be an Italian cooking show, called Barry's Cucina Italiana. In this cooking show Barry has a SHL player as guest every show where they make the most wonderful Italian dishes. One of the best viewed episodes was the one were Esa Parmborg (@Steelhead77) was a guest and they made the famous Calgary Dragons Chicken Parm Sandwiches. Another top show was where Kata Vilde (@BarnabasCollins) was a guest and they serviced a full Italian 4 course dinner for the whole Calgary Dragons team. It included several different antipasta, multiple primi's and secondi's and one delicious dolce. Kata Vilde was a master in the kitchen and he thought Barry a few helpful things to improve his cooking. He's a star in net and in the kitchen. Last but not least Barry did an episode on Sicilian wines when he was there on holiday last year. It wasn't the best viewed episode, but I know it's one of the episodes Barry loved a lot.

Being only five foot tall but weighing a plump 300 pounds it should be no surprise that Slimey Snail loves his food, especially the unhealthy kind. Given the opportunity Snail would take his chance to have his own cooking show. The name of his show could be “Something Slimey” and in every new episode he could focus on one type of food to make slimy and name the episode after it like “Slimey Soup”, “Slimey Salad”, or “Slimey Bread”. He could show off different ways to make your foods slimy or sticky for whatever reason. To finish off the season he would show off his signature dish the Slimey Snail which would be just like it sounds like, an extra slimy snail. Snail would love to have his teammates come on to his show so he could share his extra slimy foods with them to help them gain weight during the season because everyone wants to be as strong as the amazing Slimey Snail.

Welcome to “Hamr It!” starring Tampa Bay Barracuda defensemen Jakob Hamr. The one and only cooking show on the air solely dedicated to different recipes that include tenderizing ingredients.

“Today on Hamr It, we will be checking out fun American recipe Jakob has taken liking to since coming overseas: chicken fried steak. When Jakob first heard of this food, I envisioned American delicacy of fried chicken topping other American delicacy of a huge steak. Sadly, this is not the case, but still a delicious meal. First thing we do, as always, is tenderize our meat.”
Jakob reaches under the kitchen island in front of him and pulls out a comically large meat mallet. Wrapping his steaks in plastic wrap, he flattens each one in one swing.

“For those of you at home, steak should be about quarter inch thick. May take some time, but as you can see, mine are perfect. Salt your meat carefully...”

Jakob does his best salt bae impression

“And then get ready to fry it much like you fry chicken. The key to this recipe is to make sure your beef is going to be melt in mouth delicious by knowing exactly how much to hammer it. “

Cooking with Karl is the hit new cooking show for kids that is being pumped out by ABC studios this coming fall. As part of the SHL outreach media presentations, it was discovered that children enjoy watching Karl's antics for some reason, so the bosses in charge of the community outreach got on the phone with their big studio exec friends and crunched the data. They would do a cooking show for kids, it needed to be wild and wacky to grab their attention and then they could slowly get them hooked on the drug that we know as the SHL.

Hook the kids, and you'll get the parents - that was the thought.

The series starts off a bit tame, with Karl making things like sandwiches with his Muppet co hosts, but it will quickly decend into madness when Karl lights himself on fire attempting to use a blowtorch on a creme brule. The nice fireman will put out the fire once it is asked nicely, and the kids will all make something safe to make and eat, like a salad.

Even though my player probably has around 10 seasons left, I'm starting to think about what I'm going to do after retirement, so when the local tv station approached me with an offer to make my own cooking show, I had to jump at the opportunity because I thought it would be a good idea to check out what working on tv is like. Here's the thing though, I neither like nor know how to cook, I rarely do it and mostly just order takeouts, so creating content for the show was quite a challenge. I figured I would stick to quick and easy recipes for people that don't really enjoy cooking like myself, luckily we have some people in Hamilton who are really good at this and they helped me a lot, I'm not allowed to reveal who but one of the episodes will feature one of my teammates. We're still discussing the name of the show but I can tell you it will probably be something cliche like Cooking with Aaron or something.
