Ribbing is cool, that's just how some people choose to be. In every LR I've been in, there's a fair amount of ribbing, not the least of which is coming from me. But when people ask me to stop, I stop. Because after that, we're not having fun together. After that, it's having fun at someone else's expense.

I literally does not matter how minor the harassment is, or if it's "just annoying" or "just a react". Again, we learned this shit in middle school. It is baffling how this has to be explained to actual full grown adults.

Now yes, everyone here can now produce Comedy Gold™ by saying "omg I'm harassed" at every negative response to their posts, because they have the mental maturity of an 8th grader and the reasoning skills of a drunk toddler. Come the fuck on. You know what you're doing.

We all know where the line is. Some of us don't, that's where HO steps in. Behold, the new line. Don't be an asshole to people and you'll be fine. It's really that simple.

Here is how I understand the situation.

Ragnar says "good luck to draftees. *Dab emote*"

Kachur says "don't dab we aren't 12"

Ragnar proceeds to use the dab emote an undetermined amount of times (I'm not in shl general and can't go to see the situation)

My biggest problem is that HO decided the outcome to be a WEEK LONG FORUM BAN. Yes people can act like middle schoolers. You all say grow up but this site of full of immature people and bloos is like 3 years old too. It is not against the rules to be immature, targeted harassment is against the rules and I'm mainly pissed off at this incredibly weak definition of harassment. Kachur literally said not long ago that astatine is a fucking idiot which is 10x more targeted harassment than ragnar's actions.

This compounds with the GM punishment which I will not get into in this reply but this is suck weak shit from HO and you know what? Yeah I'm gonna fight it. We as users deserve better

While I don’t like the idea of publishing literally everything, because that will dissolve into some perverted form of democracy by the entire forum, I think an arbitration/appeals team that works next to the discipline committee in banning situations like this (that represents the makeup of the site in terms of age, experience, and other demography) would be helpful.

Ya something along those lines is needed.
