The only possible location that could rip me away from my current hockey home in QCC/LAP, would have to my current home. If one of the expansion teams was Irish based, I’d love to play there, but the SHL hates foreign teams :sadge:.

Rex Kirkby is pretty damn happy to be in Atlanta but if there was every a team in old blighty he'd be hard pressed to then down pub grub and a proper pint.

This is an easy choice for expansion. The only city that makes any logic sense and should only be considered is San Diego, California. If this is not the city chosen for expansion, the league as a whole are wrong.

Montreal is clearly the city which most deserves an expansion team. Apart from Montreal, I'd like to see the Whalers and Falcons move up to the SHL eventually, but I doubt that will happend.

I know technically it’s right down the road from Baltimore, but I would love to be on a team in Washington, D.C. Despite the proximity to Baltimore, it's really a completely different market since you have to include the large Northern Virginia market that would rarely get all the way up to Baltimore. I’ve been a Caps fan for a long time and I’m from the area as well so I’d be very happy to see a team come to the capital of the US.

If I was given an expansion team, mine would be the Ottawa Lumberjacks. The unofficial Ottawa sports colours are red and black so the colours fit very well with the theme.

Didn't we just have a PT like this? I swear we had one about expansion branding like a season or 2 ago; maybe it was the Hall of Fame, I don't know. Either way, I can't say there's any specific branding I'd have to join solely based on that since I have no attachment to any location, seeing as I hate most of my local teams & this is all fictional anyway.

I would definitely want to play for a team in Sweden, if nothing else to try to unite the IIHF gang and to get to play in the great land of King Carl! It’s a wonderful country, and a European team would be the right step for the league. It would be a unique and fun location, and combined with good branding, it would be quite the appealing destination.

DC/Virginia needs a team and Baltimore doesn’t count. I’d jump ship to play there for sure. I honestly haven’t given this a lot of thought though. I’d play anywhere.

I would do Kansas and choose one of the smallest towns in the state, Neosho Falls. Hockey culture isn't very prevalent in Kansas and Neosho Falls has like below 500 people so I think it would be hilarious to have a team based there. Neosho is also a cool name

RESO: If you were to tell me or EVO that you were to rip away the Raptors from Colorado, we would ask you if you wish to be sent to Vortuka. I think that the one team that I would move would be the Anaheim Outlaws, where I spent my DFA season, and mainly because we already have the Panthers for the LA/Anaheim Market. EVO would say bring them to London in an instant, but I would be more modest and say drop them in an unchallenged market like Kansas City, Halifax or even Portland.

Columbus would be the easiest sell for me, as it is my hometown and I wouldn't want to see it flounder like past expansions. If there were to be any European teams, then Helsinki.

Well first things first, I could never be ripped away from this team unless of course they don't protect me. In that case, screw those guys I'm playing for the new team in Columbus called the Crusaders

A team I would love to see in the SHL is philadelphia. Such a sports city, old history that can give a lot of unique team names

I feel like it would be fun to put a team where hockey is not a huge part of the town. Somewhere like Death Valley or Hawaii would be interesting, though the viability of a team there is another question.
