S59 PT #3 Free Agent Pitch

The pitch for San Francisco is becoming more and more appealing as the team digs itself out of a deep, dark rebuild. The team is most certainly on the upswing with the addition of two deadline players, S54 Center Mats Marner (1381 TPE) and S55 Defenseman Alexander Oscarsson (1232 TPE). Both young players are still growing and will be key additions to the core of existing young talent on the Pride. Joining the San Francisco Pride is that you could get to join a team to be the key missing piece that makes this team a cup contender in a few seasons. We have a lot of young talent and won’t really be losing much to regression any time soon and by this offseason we will have 11 players over 1k TPE. With continued growth of these players and a few key additions through free agency, this team could be very scare for a long time.

joining seattle is no normal thing for any simulation hockey league free agents. no, by joining the seattle argonauts, you are also signing a 10 year commitment for dunder mifflin to be your exclusive paper supplier for all your paper and office needs. michael scarn introduced the dunder mifflin program to the seattle argonauts, who have made it part of their entire hockey team organization. all paper materials printed and distributed by the seattle argonauts are made from dunder mifflin trees, and all of the hockey sticks are made from dunder mifflin wood as well, so it is not only the paper business that dunder mifflin is in anymore, they are also invested in all lines of businesses that have to do with wood in general. so joining the seattle argonauts you are not only signing up to be a hockey player but you are also agreeing to be a spokesperson for dunder mifflin.

Hey, you're a free agent and for some reason the Manhattan Rage have hired me to tell you why you should join our team. We have so many better faces of the team to really let you know why you should join us but hey, they would've had to pay them more. You should join Manhattan because we are a team on the rise. This season has been a little hard for us being in transition from an older roster to a younger roster. The thing is though we're reloading and not rebuilding. The old guard is quickly being replaced by the new guard. Look no further than our defence. Guys like Barrett McCarthy and David Vent are being quickly replaced by Jack Klompus, Jukka Timonen and Jed Mosely Jr. If you want to join a dynasty in the making, Manhattan is the place for you. Come be apart of the solution that brings infinite championships.

So you’re a free agent huh? Thinking about coming to the Eastern Conference, huh? Why not come to Manhattan?

Imagine this. You wake up, and BOOM. All the steroids you can eat, provided by the team. Then, you have morning skate, where Juke and [Name Redacted] make you look like a god comparatively. You play a game, but you’re not under any pressure to win because you can get into the playoffs in the Atlantic division with a point and a half in the standings. Then you get to hang out with a bunch of New York elite at night, drinking the fanciest cocktails and doing the most premium blow until the sun comes up. Then, you take a 15 minute power nap and wake up to it all again. This is the daily life of a Rage player. All of us do this. Not just me. No I don't have a problem.

Also you share a LR with a Commissioner, so it’s very easy to bribe your way into and out of stuff. That never hurts.

See you in Manhattan!

Buffalo is where I've played my entire SHL career and I couldn't imagine playing anywhere else. I've had my fair share of individual and team success here and would love to share that with other experienced vets, players looking for a change of scenery, and even new players trying to make a name for themselves in the league.

The locker room culture is excellent, from our ability to look out for each other and be hyper focused, to us pouring ice water on Luffy while he's showering almost every game.
Discussions with management about salary, play time, and other things feel more like a conversation than a negotiation.
Plenty of nightlife and reasonable distances from both Toronto and New York City for those big city feelings.
With how close we are to the teams in our division our travel is a lot more limited than west coast teams having to travel across the country every week.
We're a perennial contender and with your talent we'll be one step closer to all having our names on the cup once again.

In addition to all of the above, we boast one of the most famous celebrations around in Mardi Gras. Immerse yourself in the local culture, spend time with your great and talented new teammates, take pride in wearing an awesome uniform, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Louisiana; all it takes is a trip to the south. New Orleans is calling.

Want to simply butter up the commissioner? Join the Ham Fam. We have a deep-rooted culture, a championship resume, and enough discord channels for an entire country. Regardless of what your needs or wants are, Hamilton is the best place for any free agent who considers themselves to be anybody.

Plus, we've got perfect weather year-round, outdoor activities, and a beautiful downtown that has nightlife for days. Don't make the mistake that so many other free agents make when they simply pick somewhere out of haste or familiarity. Pick the Steelhawks. Pick consistency. Pick trophies.

We want you, but most of all, we want you to want us too. Come join the liveliest locker room in hockey, the fullest trophy case, and a sure-fire ticket to awards and trophies galore.

Do you want to be part of the next big thing? Want to get in on the ground floor right before something takes off? Then check out the Tampa Bay Barracuda. It’s no secret the Barracuda have been in a rebuild for a while. We all remember the perfect season. But the rebuild has been going really well, even if you can’t see it in the standings. The core of the team is starting to peak now, and in the next couple seasons, we’re going to be a team competing for playoffs, maybe the whole thing. We still have some spots for a couple of stars though, and that’s where you free agents come in. Be the faces of a team hitting its stride after a rebuild process. Win the Challenge Cup while still being able to have no one accuse you of bouncing to a Cup favorite. The GMs are great, the LR is great, it’s all great. Come join us.

Buffalo may not be more interesting than its famous cousin in New York, but it still has a lot to offer. Mainly buffalo wings. This is the buffalo wing capital of the world so clearly we are gonna have the best ones. We even have a player named chimkin wing. How could you possibly argue against that? We even have meatless wings if you hate animals. Dunk em all in buffalo sauce. We dunk chimkin wing in buffalo sauce sometimes but i would not lick it off him. Ferda tried it once and we took a picture of him and now i believe many locker rooms have the picture its called "paepae". There are probably other things to do in this great city but i dont ever leave the house so i can really only give you wing restaurant and sauce recommendations. So come on down and lets get some food together how bout it? No tamper. Maybe a little tamper.

Come to the great, amazing, city of Atlanta, home of the aptly named Atlanta Inferno, if you love the animals that goes by the name of otter! If you do not love otters, than perhaps this is not the team for you. They have a channel in the discord server where you can only post pictures/talk about otters. If you are like me and push the rules, you will get banned for increasing lengths of time, starting at 1 day then 1 week, then 1 month and lastly 1 year. Currently I am banned for a week but my ban will be up soon. I even said the word otter but apparently there is precedence that just saying otter is not enough to stay unbanned so I got banned again. In conclusion, we, the Atlanta Inferno, based in the city of Atlanta would love to have many free agents, but if you do not like the otter animal, we can not have you join our team. Culture clash and all that.

With the expansion draft looming and causing potential ripples in the free agent market, there are fewer destinations more attractive than Manhattan. A concrete jungle wet dream tomato, Manhattan is world renowned for being a melting pot with almost everything available for a person to indulge in. With the high salaries commanded by players in the SHL due to the league's growing popularity, the opportunity to live in one of the nicer areas of New York City is something which cannot be understated. The bustling metropolis will be a strong pull for any would be member of the Manhattan Rage. On the hockey side, despite the Rage having a less than stellar seasons so far, they have a solid group of players and have a number of high potential prospects waiting in the wings for a call up to the team. The opportunity is there for any high profile free agent to come in and become a star for the Rage and a hero in the city.

Boston offers a some things that could be potentially exciting if you are a free agent. Our fans are obnoxiously passionate about our teams and you will find that they'll die to defend you on internet forums. But also if you go into a slump you might get heckeled in the arena so there is that too. If you're a history buff there are plenty of historical sites to see in the city. One of my personal favorite tours is to travel from graveyard to graveyard seeing what famous figures are in each graveyard, it's pretty cool. I mean most graves are just normal people but still neat. Oh and Ben Revere's house is in downtown Boston but the thing is falling apart. Other than that we've got great sea food, cool summers, abysmal winters, and some delightful accents. Oh and if you're Irish it is basically like America's Ireland so there is that too. And that's Boston.
