“The Lumberjack’s Revenge Song”

I don’t know Colin Meloy, but I’m pretty sure he would repurpose the “The Mariners Revenge Song” from The Decemberist’s Picaresque if we asked nicely enough. It will tell the story of a green, fourth line Timber forward seeking vengeance against a former teammate. Like all of his music, it will be twenty minutes long, have too much accordion, and feature a bunch of words pulled at random from a late nineteenth century thesaurus.
