SMJHL Head Office has voided the signings of the following players: Josiah Hansen, Aka Ralfonso, Kristian Zenatik, & Joni Hakala. The reason for these signings being voided is due to SMJHL Rulebook Section 4.a.ii, "Any SMJHL IFAs that were not on your roster last season can be signed starting at 12:00 noon Eastern time the day after the SMJHL Draft." The signings of these four players was posted before 12:00 noon the day following the SMJHL draft, so these signings are invalid signings. SMJHL Head Office only stepped in in this instance due to the proximity of the deadline of SMJHL Budgets and Rosters as well as the above signing window. In addition to those two reasons, we also recognize that it is very late at night for the GMs involved here, so we wanted to step in and fix this sooner rather than wait for later.
