Tomas usually spends his time playing the Franchise mode of the NHL games. The last couple of careers has been using the expansion draft to create the 31st team and one of the trades that always occurs is drafting high value players, such as Mark Giordano from the Flames, and subsequently trading him away for a couple of first round draft picks for the Entry draft. The value gained from this trade tends to help the team for multiple years going forward.

One time I traded the distribution rights to some songs I spent a couple of days recording in a studio in Germany for a three-week all-expenses-paid European vacation afterward. It was a great trade, would recommend it.

A few years ago I traded the comfortable and steady salary as a formulation chemist for an opportunity for a better job in the future - my enrolling in graduate school. At first I had to commute 2 hours a few times a week while working still, but I eventually got a TA job and could quit my other position to finish school in a reasonable amount of time. Always follow your dreams!

The best trade deal in the history of trade deals was when I traded some rocket man yugio card to some random kid who gave me all five pieces of exodia in return.

I traded 35 dollars for a brand new Bioshock 2 collectors edition and it is to this day one of the best purchases of my life because it's worth hundreds of dollars online. Bioshock being one of my favourite franchises and Bioshock stuff being my favourite things to collect, it was an amazing "trade".

One day in 5th grade I had the option to make a trade. For context, we liked to make these little lines while sitting on the floor for a lecture or stories or something of the sort and we'd draw on each others backs with our fingers. It was just a fun thing we'd do bc everyone loves back "scratches" or just shit like that. I got an offer of like 100 pokemon cards to always sit behind this one kid bc ig he really liked when I did it. I accepted and found out years later the cards he gave me were all fakes.

I have traded many things in my life, mostly money for goods and services. Sometimes goods and services for money. Sometimes goods and services for other goods and services. My life is so boring, however, that I can’t really pinpoint one specific trade that stands out. I am sure I’ll make some trades since I just got the Anchorage GM job, however I haven’t yet. And though I was the Co-GM of LAP for a while, it was so long ago that I don’t remember any of the trades we made while I was there. I once traded in my car that I really, really liked for a car I really, really didn’t like, because we were moving from Texas to Missouri and I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to afford the payment on the car I liked. Worst trade of my life. For those wondering, I traded a 2016 5.0 Mustang GT Premium (with the six speed manual, obviously) for a 2019 Ford Escape SE. I hate my life.

Trade wise I think the best I have ever done was getting the 4th overall pick for the 28th and 31st pick in a draft class that really only had about 10 decent or not inactives players. But Super Casual is quite an easy league to fleece the bad GMs in lol

Back in my GM'ing days my co's and I made a fair amount of trades. According to Luke's mega spreadsheet a total of 52. There's some definite winners and some I'd rather not dive to much in to, but overall I like to think we made out well on the majority of those trades. I can't list just one as my favorite, but one trade that worked out incredibly well for us was when we acquired a then inactive Teodors Cukurs from the Portland Admirals (now San Francisco Pride). For a 4th, a 3rd and 1 million cash (back when we could trade budget) we got 500 games from Mr. Cukurs, including 144 goals, 240 assists for 384 points. By the time he retired he was able to secure a Richan award while playing with us and we were able to give him his first Challenge Cup in S45.

One of my best trades as a kid was when i traded 100 common pokemon cards for a Gameboy Advance. At that time, Gambeboy Advance was one of the coolest things on the block. One kid from elementary school had 2, so i traded pokemon cards for that.

I traded a Lloyd Moseby baseball card for a pack of swedish fish. It was an epic bamboozling of my friend Danny. He is still upset about it. What a trade!

I traded some of my time irl to get my CDL to drive passenger buses around. Its a pretty fun time and you get to meet some interesting people.

Once I traded my dignity and respect with ATL by zooming into the picture someone sent of billboards in the background. I said "huh I didn't know we had any Spaniards or South Americans on the team" because of the Spanish language

They were in French.... the player was in Montreal....
