The season went pretty well for Ty Murphy and Seattle. Ended third in the league standings which is real cool beans. It would have been really awesome to hit 100 points again as I only have once in my career, but hell I'll take 90+ every season. Seattle has a real strong chance in the playoffs with how tight our tactics can be. I think that the team chemistry is really strong and this season is closing in on the end of our winning window. It's great to have Max Manning on the same line so T. Murphy has someone to pass the puck to lol. Otherwise who knows, I'd probably just be a shitty first line winger. Shit, am I a shitty first line winger anyway?? Nahhhhhh I think I'm pretty good. Winning another Cup would be fucking amazing. My career goals include one more cup and an IIHF gold. I think both are obtainable, I just need to kick it into high gear and start performing in clutch situations.

CREATIVE PROMPT / STORY MODE Written Task: When dealing with conflict, it's important to try to approach the situation with an open mind and a willingness to listen to the other person's perspective. This can involve setting aside any preconceived notions or biases and focusing on the specific issue at hand. It's also helpful to remain calm and avoid becoming defensive or aggressive, as this can escalate the situation and make it harder to find a resolution. This is exactly what Mats Marner did with his conflict with a Chicago Syndicate staffer. With effective communication, active listening, and a willingness to work together towards a common goal, it was possible to resolve the conflict between Marner and the staffer and they are now even focusing on building a positive relationship going forward. To Marner it was important to approach the situation with the goal of finding a constructive and mutually beneficial solution, rather than simply assigning blame or seeking a scapegoat.

Overall, my season was not a success because the Elk finished last in the division and did not qualify for the playoffs. Anytime we aren't able to make it to the post-season, I will consider that an unsuccessful year. However, as a team I do think we showed a lot of positive growth and I have no doubt that we will be able to get back into the playoffs next season. Personally, I was overall happy with my play as I was able to set a career high with 28 points. I was also able to set a career high in blocks with 165; something that I am extremely proud of as I know that tends to help the team quite a bit. While there were some positives, I think there are plenty of areas for improvement in my game. I'd like to become more of a threat offensively, whether that is becoming a better puck mover or even tallying some more goals. I do think I grew as a player and a leader this season, and I continue to be honored to wear the C on my jersey these past two seasons. Although it was not the season we wanted in Regina, I know we will come back strong next season.

This season went probably better than expected as GK is not getting any younger, and with regression taking chunks out of his game season after season, I honestly expected to have a much worse season than last.
Given GK’s age, and decline in skills as a result he finds himself averaging 16-17 minutes a night of ice time on a stacked Winnipeg team. I would have expected his presence to be felt minimally with a reduction in point totals but I was completely surprised when I surpassed my last season point totals, albeit by 1 or something like that. Goes to show that despite his decline in tangible skills, and physicals GK can still be replied on in a limited role when it comes to contributing to a team. Not only that but he bring valuable cup winning experience to the team as he has done that once before with Chicago. Going forwards GK hope to get one final cup either this season or next, who knows maybe both, before announcing his formal retirement from the league so that he can focus on his fishing business. Ryosuke Sato's season looked quite a lot like his last season in terms of points despite playing less time which makes it a good season (?). Sato is definitely shooting less with regression with only 5 goals and is now focusing more on his playmaking abilities later in his career. However, Sato's defensive game is still on par as he has over 140 blocked shots and 48 hits on the season with 29 takeaways to 11 giveaways. His strong defensive abilities still made Sato an option on the penalty kill for the Seattle Argonauts. Overall I would like to say that Ryosuke after joining another team in the Seattle Argonauts, has put the team in a better position with the two new defensive additions to fill out the team's bottom pairing. A solid signing overall to take up some ice time and to be trusted on different lines of the team from 5-on-5 to special teams. As for playoffs, we're hoping for one last deep run before returning home to Toronto.

Anchorage's roster was filled with mostly forwards this season. Banking it all on forwards from the previous 2 drafts did not pay out as expected when the drafted defensemen from the last 3 or even 4 seasons or so went under in just a season. Not the greatest beginning to build a roster in the first place. The team has been very much average for the last 5 seasons, doing okay, reaching playoffs, but getting hammered in the first 2 rounds or so in the playoffs. This season was probably the least succesful one that I have coached. 43 losses from 66 games is not the record line you want to see as a GM. Looking at next season, since this season has nothing else to be looked at, is to get core defensemen from the draft and capitalize off of this years mistakes. Especially when it is my GM player's last year he should go out with a bang. The team has it in them, but not quite.

Perhaps contrary to expectations due to another big regression bite out of his attributes last offseason, Lemo Pihl instead managed to have himself another spectacular regular season, again breaking his personal best in points by one and padding his career totals with another 78 points! He also expects his Philly Phorge team to be making a lot of noise in the playoffs again and has his eyes firmly set on another Challenge Cup championship. With the first round already behind us and the Manhattan Rage thoroughly defeated by a scorching sweep of the proverbial broom, the Forge now look ahead to extinguishing the flames of the Atlanta Inferno on their way to the Eastern Conference finals. Lemo has loved every moment of his time in the City of Brotherly Love and has already extended his contract for next season as well as he hopes to be able to defy his age for at least a few more seasons before hanging up his skates for good.

After 69 shots on net with still no SHL goals to show for it, even the opposition started to feel so sorry for Lemo, that they decided to help him out :D
- Bad pass by Jack Klompus, he gave it right to Lemo Pihl.
- Lemo Pihl rips it to the net...
- Lemo Pihl will find the empty net, that should do it!

Another season has come to an end, and for Tummy Hurts it is a bitter-sweet one. On the one hand, Tummy has had by far his most successful season to date, backstopping the Newfoundland Berserkers to their best record since he joined the team, and forming a formidable tandem with Rhett Carpet. On the other hand, this is Tummy Hurts’ last season of SMJHL eligibility, meaning he will be pulling up his roots and leaving Newfoundland when the playoffs end – hopefully with a Four Star Cup to remember it by. Tummy had a fantastic season on an individual level. Tummy led the league in Goals Saved Above Average, Save Percentage, and Shutouts, and was first among starting goaltenders in Goals Against Average. Tummy had 31 wins, the fifth most in the league and within a shout of first despite playing considerably fewer games. With a sparking and somewhat unbelievable 31-4-1 record, Tummy was an enormous part of his team’s success, and has to be considered the favourite for some year-end honours.
Something happened on the day he died. Spirit rose a metre and stepped aside. Somebody else took his place, and bravely cried. I’m a blackstar, I’m a blackstar. a bottomless curse, a bottomless sea, source of all greatness, all things that be.
