Written Option 1: Your player has been enjoying their well deserved rest until they get the call from their general manager that they need to do some marketing or take part in meet and greet, something not related to hockey. But it would be just so nice to keep golfing and drinking mojitos or whatever they like. If your player doesn’t want to go, how they convince their general manager that what they are doing is too important to be interrupted or they cannot attend the event because of some factors out of their control? Or are they always ready to take part in these events and be the face of the franchise, even if their teammates need to skip it because they apparently just flew to Australia to meet their cousin and their passport was stolen by Kangaroos. What does your player do and how does it go?

This has been quite a long off-season for Ben Jammin and when the opportunity came knocking from his WPG Aurora GM's to do some fan engagement activities, he couldn't say no! Ben Jammin has made it quite known he does DJ'ing in his spare time and has even put on full on concerts for fans. The GM's gave Ben Jammin full reigns on how he would like to orchestrate this event for the Winnipeg faithful and Ben is looking to pull out all the stops (and quite a lot of the teams budget) to make this DJ concert one for the ages. There will be various dancers, LED strobe lights being used to go along with the sick beats Ben Jammin will play during the show. The venue will be Winnipeg's home arena and there will be some special musical guests to accompany Ben during the show. This is a must-see/attend event to get all the fans excited for the upcoming SHL season.

Written Option 1:

It had been a long, baking August day on the Castillon vineyard outside of Montpellier, and now the youngest cousins were splashing in the pool while their parents had cranked up the grill and started stocking the bar and the fire pit for the night's activities. Every year, the Castillon clan convened to spend the back half of June and the whole of July and August helping out around the farm. It was hard work, hardly a vacation by most metrics, but as soon as the heat passed and the Sun started toward the horizon, the mood shifted toward play. The general vibe was a determination to squeeze the every possible ounce of summer out of each day, especially now that the last of their number had (finally) joined 10 days before.
Oliver had been fighting the disappointment and frustration from S76's results for his teams since the plane had landed in Visby for the IIHF tournament. It had been a bitter fight in Round 2 of the SHL playoffs, a bitter fight in the Quarterfinals of the tournament, and his teams had gotten the short end in both. Keeping it from affecting his vacation time was a struggle, even as far away as it all was in France, in the pool, on a flamingo-shaped floaty, with a steel tumbler of wine in one hand and the other holding a Super Soaker to keep the little cousins away, working less on a tan and more on a sunburn. Until, that is, the sliding glass door opened and his mother poked her head out.
"Ollie," she called. "Phone call for you. It's McCloud."
He sighed and sat up. His sister, Maya, took the tumbler from him as he swam to the side of the pool and climbed out. His mother had stepped out to the patio, and reached out with his phone, buzzing once again with a 2nd call from the LA Panthers GM.

"Hey Mr. McCloud!" Oliver greeted with a false cheer.
"Hey Oliver, I know camp doesn't start for a few weeks, but the league just signed a new uniform deal that they want players to promote, and there's a charity event for the Panther Walk next week that we need bodies for. We've already got agreements from Adam and Derek, but we need one more person."

As he took a moment to think about it, Oliver's phone buzzed. He glanced around. His cousins and sister were still in the pool. Maya was pouring his wine into her own cup to top off. His (least favorite) aunt was smoking in the chair across from him and trying to look nonchalant as she eavesdropped.

"I just got here," he said. It came out a bit whinier than he wanted.
"You'd be compensated for the uniform promo, and it'd be a big help to have you at the Panthers' Pride gala," McCloud pressed. "I know it's not as good as family time, but we need you here."
Oliver bit back a sigh.
"Yep. Okay. When do I need to be there?"
"As quick as you can. Thanks, Oliver!"
The call ended with McCloud, and Oliver found that the buzz had been a series of messages from the Panthers' group chat.

'Boss Man on the prowl' Adam had announced a little too late with a gif of a black panther stalking toward the camera.
'I'm in Japan' Shane replied.
There was a strange, too-close picture of what might have been a giraffe from Pass.
'Just signed w BAP' *Best Penguin has left the chat*
Elena posted a selfie with a few of the Team France players at a museum in Paris.
*Polanball (Gregorz) is Typing*
'I got it, wish me luck' Oliver tapped out quickly and hit send. He put the phone down on the patio table, and threw himself back in the pool with a big splash. He'd wait until after dinner to book his tickets back to LA, and break it to his family that work duties called.

Written Option 2:

Oh man the Offseason is almost over and what does Yuri Boyka III do? Well it is obvious, he is having his daily shot of Russian vodka to start the day. Basically, it is supposed to work as a pre-workout and help him go with the day. Right after that, Boyka III will go swimming to improve his endurance and coordination. He will then have a big breakfast with 6 eggs, greek yogourt and few berries. This adds the necessary fuel for his body packed with protein. He will then go onto do mixed martial arts to keep his body in shape and flexible. This helps maintain is abs in peak condition as well. He will then have lunch where he engulfs 1 whole chicken chicken with a side of broccoli. He will then proceed to head to the hockey rink and start skating around obstacles to be fast on his feet and will also take 50 wrist shots, 50 slaps shots and 50 snap shots. This will keep his shooting at a top notch level. He will also do all these shots with targets placed on the net to improve his accuracy as well. He will then head home, submerge himself in a cold bath for mental alertness and muscle recovery. He will then have a tub of low cal ice cream , do what he needs to do with the many women around him and finally get a good night's sleep.

Option 2:

Leo is playing his first season in Chicago after being called up, so those finals weeks before the season will be a lot of trying to get settled into Chicago and getting his chemistry up with his linemates. It will be a hard transition for him, leaving a place he’s stayed for four years but he’s had time to prepare so it won’t be too horrible. Besides getting ready to start playing for a whole new team Leo doesn’t change much about his routine. The IIHF tourney keeps him in game shape and he already works out a lot during the offseason so there’s no need to start working out more. Leo lives hockey so he’s never not playing even after Latvia gets knocked out, but he does slow up on the pickup games once the season nears and focuses on drills and other practice sessions. The only bad thing about when the season gets closer is that the golf and beach trips are less common.

Written Option #2

In the last few weeks before the season starts, Josh Fewer gets pried away from the golf course and hits the gym. As an undersized dman, Josh understands that it's very important to maintain his physical stature and in order for him to someday make the SHL team, he knows that he needs to get stronger and faster to compete with the more skilled players. Putting in the work before the season starts is not only important for his development, but for him to get back into shape for the season that's ahead. He needs to burn off the Sunday afternoon golf beers just to be able to perform to his own expectations for the next junior season. Outside of hitting the gym and rink, Josh doesn't have anything special going on. After just receiving his paycheck maybe he will go and splurge a little on a shopping spree.

Written Option 2:

It has been an interesting offseason for Matviy Cajabi. After bouncing out of the SMJHL playoffs in the first round, and a shortened stint at the WJC playing with Czechia for the first time, the offseason came slightly earlier than it had last year. After sliding into the dreaded "sophomore slump" in S76, he wasn't about to rest on his laurels. Ever determined to make a name for himself in this league, he returned to Anchorage after his other commitments had concluded and could be seen daily in the gym or on the ice.
That is, until his phone rang recently. Notified by the Armada brass that the team was transitioning, his was a name that had been floated out there that could be moved. That phone call was GM Figgy letting him know that he had been traded (along with Deth Klaw) to the Maine Timber. So the time left between then and the beginning of the SMJHL regular season will be used saying his goodbyes in Anchorage, and then settling in with his new team. With a small window of opportunity for leisure time before S77 gets underway, he'll hope to travel to Boston to watch the Red Sox host the Braves, having never been to a MLB baseball game before.
All work and no play makes Matviy a dull boy.

With the season fast approaching the members of the Steelhawk management was looking for ways to bolster its season ticket sales and had come up with the great ide of showing off their young guns and future prospects. One of the first calls that aleks and Hallsey made was to their budding young stud of a defender in Will Nuck. Although the idea was great from a managerial point of view, it wasnt the last minute plans that young Nuck was looking forward to. Nuck was in the remote backcountry of Canada doing some summer fishing when he revived the call from management and had to think fast and on their feet to come up with a cover story to blow off the event planned. Just winging his answers to aleks, he was able to convince the Hamilton brass that he was to far from civilization to be retrieved on a timely bases. He was talking out his ass when he said the float plain would not be able to retrieve him until the weather had cleared.

Jennifer has a busy off-season, as that is typically when she is doing her idols activities and performing with Le Sserafim, so she can’t always make time to meet the fans of the Knights or the Dragons at team events. However, she loves meeting the fans when she’s out performing, as more and more hockey fans are getting into kpop, and vice versa. Jennifer typically makes it up to both GM’s during the season, as she’s willing to do any meet and greets or fan events that the teams ask of her during the season. But thankfully both GM’s allow her to prioritize Le Sserafim in the off-season as they know she wants to be both the best idol and best hockey player. The coolest thing she ever did though was a special Le Sserafim performance just for Calgary Dragon fans. It was a cool experience as she got to live both of her passions at the same time.

Written Option One
Had he remained a member of the Minnesota Monarchs, Bastien would've told Management that due to his age and feeling that he has but only a few good seasons left in him he opted to save and manage his body in order to maintain himself at a good level in order to perform the best he can for the upcoming season. But since he signed for two season with the Montreal Patriotes, he feels energized and more motivated than ever to make an impact with the team and wants to do so in more ways than one. Thus, while training is taking place in order to be as ready as his body allows he will mix that up with appearances in the local Montreal media be it on RDS or TVA Sports and even non-sports shows like Tout Le Monde En Parles and the occasional morning show like Salut Bonjour among other things. He will participate in every meet and greet and marketing obligations related to the team as well.

As the offseason winds down, Rence Sykut reemerges from weeks of staying at his family's dacha in the Latvian wilderness. His mind and body are already ready for the season after a summer of performing Rocky IV style workouts and watching YouTube compilations of Sergei Fedorov and Pavel Bure in their primes. His body looks lean and muscular under his adidas tracksuit after a summer diet that has consisted of canned pickled herring, beetroot juice, and rye bread. It's time to shed the beard and shaggy hair before meeting the next crop of rookies that will join Rence to usher in a new golden generation of Seattle Argonauts. He'll use the IIHF tournament as a spring board to both represent his country and get his skating legs back under him before maximally sending it for his sophomore season. There will be no sophomore slump. There will be no return to the rock bottom that was last season in Seattle.

After the Texas Renegades were eliminated by the Winnipeg Aurora, Lasse spent the rest of the playoffs travelling to watch ever single San Francisco Pride game to support lots of his fellow friends. Then, after that, Lasse went immediately back to his training regime. Every single off-season Lasse doesn't break stride in his training so that he doesn't have a huge hill to climb to get back into shape for the coming season. Last off-season was the only exception for Lasse as he spent most of it moving to Texas from the trade, but this one was no different. Yet, Lasse still manages to make time in his life for the important things, spending time with his family, golfing with his teammates, and getting involved with the community. For the last week before training camp Lasse always makes it a tradition to fly over to Germany to go spend a week with his parents and drop off the tickets he purchased for them to come and watch him play throughout the season, and just spend quality family time before flying home and hopping straight into training camp.
