S77 mPT #3: Not as planned Due: Sunday, June 30th @ 11:59 PM PST

The worst thing I could imagine happening to Teemu Salami's career would be never being on a competitive team who has a chance to win it all. Not every player gets to hoist up the trophy at some point in their career, but not even being in the running to do so would be painful.

I was on the Toronto team that missed finished 5th in the league with 93 points and missed the playoffs because of the divisional standings. 4th in the division but 5th in the whole league. Had 45 more points than a team that made the playoffs. So yeah, that happening again would be the worst thing imaginable.

Nevada Battleborn started the season super strong. They seems like an impossible obstacle to overcome but recently they have been losing many games. The worst thing that can happen is if this trend continues and we see ourselves going down the ladder in the standings.

Honestly, it was very heartbreaking losing 3 straight finals in a row.  That being said, we were very fortunate to even be in the position to challenge for those wins.  The 4th time in we got the job done, and it was such a relief given the efforts put in by everyone involved.  It was also a fun surprise to make it to the finals again 2 seasons later (yet ... that wasn't meant to be)

Maybe I am thinking too much into this, but I think the worst thing that could happen to the Atlanta Inferno is if their bus exploded and everyone died.

I mean, I guess the worst thing that could happen is my player for some reason dies a very slow, excruciating, debilitating/disabling, painful death that stops them from playing hockey or enjoying life in any meaningful way. Locked-in syndrome with continued perception of pain, maybe. Like... huh?

Thanks @Amidships!

The low point? Well, my first season on Winnipeg we went all the way to the finals, so we currently are at my low point given how our season is going. It could be worse, but it could also be a lot better. We all need patience here.

The worst thing that I could imagine happening to my player would be like being traded for scraps and then to be traded again immediately after that for more scraps. Ive been a Panther fan for 20 years, this isn't going to end well. Put me on suicide watch if we lose.

The worst thing that could happen to my player is most likely that the entire league gets disbanded. Not sure how I can come back from that one as a player…

Worst thing would likely be managing to reach the championship finals for several seasons but never actually winning the cup. The continuous building of hope and devastating crushing of dreams wouldn't be manageable.

from the lowest lows come the highest highs. put that on a banner asap. its ancient history at this point, but my first season in the J we went winless in preseason and won a single game in the first WEEK of sims. Not only that, but our actual first win got resimmed into a loss. the cup 2 years later made it all worth it though.

The hardest time ive had in the shl is way back to my first player which was created in S22, when I eventually got called up and played with WKP. We would make it to the finals twice, only to lose in game 7 both times.
Luckily my feature players had better luck.

The worst situation imaginable might be allowing a goal from @Tsunny in a game against Calgary. Hasn't happened yet though, so the bragging rights remain mine  Smile

Going back in time a bit to my old team, the lowest point in time for the Chicago Syndicate was losing star defenseman Ben Jammin to the Winnipeg Aurora at the end of S74. :people_hugging:

I think for Podcalzone, all he can ask for at this point in his career to have a taste of playoff hockey once again. It's been a satisfying career otherwise, but a return to the post-season would really be a nice little taste before wrapping up his career.
