It feels like the obvious choice, but let's do the live drafts. All draftees and team management would spend a few days in a random SHL city every two months. Who says no? All we need is a billionaire to pay for this.

I like that the NHL has a cap floor and I think the SHL should adapt one too. Of course, the contract minimums and such would have to be reworked to make sense. I think taking away TPE based minimums could open the door to better player agency when it comes to contracts.

Bring injuries back to the SHL. I get it I get it, it’s not fun for user experience. But what if it’s just for a couple games. You could also add durability as a tpe category. Bring some more realism to the league.

no goalie goal or goalie points is a crime. players like justin time and song ju-gong should be able to Acquire Points. obviously this is because fhm sucks and doesn't have a goalie point system built in, but still. goalie chemistry, too, it's like none of these players know who their goalie even is!

The NHL does a really good job of having how good a goalie is actually kind of make an impact on their stats. I feel like we here at the SHL could really use that cause I'm pretty sure FHM just spins a wheel with no real care about a goalie's stats to determine how good they're gonna play

NO doubt in my mind that the amount of penalties given is very unrealistic (not enough) also gonna ride the coattails of others.. need a FA frenzy here, i should be able to chase the bag for cash if i so choose. gives us another way of making money thats hard to earn to begin with.

I really don't know enough about the NHL to suggest anything outrageous be added. I guess the only thing I can think of is to allow players to select to be drafted from their country rather than their minors team.

i really like that the SHL set up a junior league to feed the SHL, it makes the big league feel like an accomplishment while also allowing you to build up your player from very little. i think it would have been much easier for the shl to just say hey, create at like 800 tpe or whatever and then everyone starts in the SHL, but i think that idea is a lot less fun!

The SHL should take notes from the PWHL and implement the Jailbreak Rule. If a team playing short handed scores a goal on the penalty kill, the penalty ends right then and there. Could be an interesting way for teams to try out different penalty kill strategies.

The only thing I know about the SHL is the playoffs format. There is the allure of rivalries, but it'd also be nice to begin seeing different teams play together more frequently.

After the free agency that the NHL has had, maybe it would be a good idea to bring some hype to the SHL free agency. There should also be another thing to spend your money on other than cards and TPE gaining. For example, maybe some items that could boost a specific stat for the season or something

I think professional athletes should have to do PTs and such to unlock better equipment. If you're a big time media creator maybe you can rack up enough to get a golden stick, y'know, something fun like that. They are likely too cowardly to try this, unlike SHL.

I think we should prevent the country of Canada and their cities' teams from winning the cups just like real life has decided to do. The only teams that shall win should be teams from the good old USA!

Bring hazing to the SHL! I want the rookies on the team to have to write my articles for me. Why should I have to do my own activity checks? Make the rooks do them!
