My hot take is that a defenseman will lead at least one of the teams in playoff scoring scoring. The further that team goes, the more impressive it will be! Book it.

I think that two teams are gonna play a really big prank where they swap jerseys with each other and then just pretend to be the other team for the rest of the playoffs. Imagine thinking it's some big upset but it's actually just Philadelphia dressed up as Atlanta or something

Hot take: After not requiring a re-sim in quite a while, the first sim of the playoffs will need to be re-simmed (the second re-sim in as many weeks) causing mass hysteria.

Despite requiring a high draft pick this coming draft, Yukon is , in Yukon fashion, going to push up to the semi-finals and then fall short resulting in a decent playoff finish, but a much lower pick than what they need. That's how things go for me typically.

I believe that the average powerplay will be operating at an 80% pace and that the average penalty kill will be operating at 20%, just completely flip the script

My hot take is that every player in Nevada will get a hatty throughout the playoffs, including the goalie. I don't remember anything in the rulebook stating a goalie couldn't just *happen* to get a goal while blocking the puck.
