When he was younger, Julian never bothered too much with his appearance on gameday. People paid to watch him play, not dress up. Right? Well, over the years, he came to the realization that he's more than just a pair of hands on a stick, or a random person wearing a hockey jersey on ice. As an SHL player, Julian Flörsch is a combination of a lot of things. He's a hockey player, for sure. But he's also a personal brand, as people look up to him, recognize him everywhere and are inspired by his choices on and off the ice. He's also a marketing instrument for The Minnesota Monarchs and all of their sponsors. And that's why he can't afford to not care about his gameday appearance, but has to dress to the occassion. So before and after games, you'll usually catch him in a stylish three-piece suit and tie. After all, if you want the crowd and sponsors to take you seriously, you have to show them you're serious.

Being an idol, Jen has an impeccable sense of fashion and is able to dress for whatever occasion the team needs. She does own suits and is more than willing to wear those to the arena if that’s what the owner wants her to wear. But she is also up to date on all the fashion trends, so she can wear something more casual but still professional, she can wear a dress, she can match the rest of the team if they are doing a theme night of some kind with their outfits, Jen is essentially a fashion chameleon. Overall Jen does get a lot of media attention for her outfits, whether traditional or more unique, but that is part of the territory of being a hockey player and an idol. Her teammates are always supportive of what she wears, and Jen in turn supports them as she wants everyone to express themselves in the way that makes them happy.

Thank you @xjoverax and @phoenix for the sigs!

Leo Finnegan is a big fan of the leagues dress code. As a fashion aficionado, Leo prefers style and comfort over dressing to impress. One of the more common items you'll find in the defenceman's closet will be anything made by Fear of God. The minimalist approach always attracted Leo's eyes and the comfort level is second to none compared to other fashion brands. Leo will throw on a suit every now and then to show the world he can dress with the best, but personally a good comfy, stylish outfit goes a long way when training and travelling. Being able to throw on a comfy pair of pants and shirt after a game rather than suiting back up is a huge bonus for Leo.

On his feet he'll wear the shoes of the day. He has so many pairs of shoes its hard to keep track. Usually, Leo likes to slip into a pair of comfy slides or Birkenstock clogs. He's also been spotted wearing a comfy pair of Crocs every now and then, but he will never admit it...

To curry favor, my player likes to wear a sports jersey of the home city (not hockey) when he arrives. This makes my player a bit more popular. When they see the Los Angeles Panthers bus arrive, they see quite a handful of characters bounce off the bus. Then they see my guy, and his jersey from the football or baseball league. It’s quite a collection nowadays, and not a cheap one. But yeah, fans see me in the jersey and I would like to think they go a little easier on me with the chirps. Usually chirping just motivates us. Players are simply built different. We have different motivation. But every now and then I get to meet the person I’m wearing their jersey, and that’s a fun little encounter. It’s just something a little different. A lot of guys on the team are sneaker heads. I have the jerseys and that’s my little thing. Jerseys and some khakis or shorts. That’s my go to dress to impress right there. I mean, I’m showing up for sports anyways.

Tibuk is a pretty snappy dresser. His game days are usually toned down with darker coloured suits and ties. But he likes to keep things interesting and change to something interesting each game. It has to be new whatever it is but he can't be repetitive 2 games in a row or he "goes stale". Tibuk also loves to keep things changed up based on hi season. Last season it was his tie season, every game Tibuk would rock a different tie. It could range from dark to lights, with different designs or patterns from comically small to obscenely large. He once wore a live snake in place of a tie (with of course the right animal handler nearby). This season however we have moved on to socks, new socks every game. So far we have seen the typical dress socks, ankle socks, colourful socks, hauntingly poignant socks, and even no socks. To be determined what next season will be but I think the sock thing is working.

Pass Forfeit tends to dress in jeans and a tshirt when he arrives to games. This is what he feels comfortable in and lets him show that he is just a normal guy who doesnt care too much but also cares the right amount. He tends to go thrifting around LA at the popular stores and fans have spotted him occasionally. He does have the money for luxury clothes but decided early on that he'd rather spend it on training and coaching which would help his game rather than the outside world. Given the option between a suit and tie and a pair of gym shorts, pass would choose the latter. This is not a crazy idea and he hopes it takes off. Casual fridays should be casual everyday. Especially in a league that prides itself on appearance. To stand out is to be different and to be different is to be notable. Maybe this will catch on.

I, Leonard Wood, arrives to the hockey game as a professional in a full suit and tie. I am a professional athlete and I need to convey that to my teammates, coaches, fans, and the media. My demeanor is all business that shows upon the minute I set foot into the arena. The professionalism dialed down to the very attire I wear is a small attribute that goes a long way. It shows that I am here to play at the highest level. It shows that I am here to compete, to win a Challenge Cup. It shows that I am here to set an example, an example to the impressionable young fans who look up to players like me and an example of leadership to my teammates. I sometimes see players showing up to games looking like total slobs. And I notice how that translates to their play on the ice, which tends to be sloppy as well. It also does not reflect well upon their team when they show up on social media. This is a sport where all eyes are fixed upon you, so I make the effort to dress the part and look good.

Written Option 1: It’s usually commonplace to see hockey athletes in major leagues like the NHL and the PWHL come to game days dressed in formal attire. From full on suit and tie or just a nice fancy fit, the outfits are always full of style. This is the SHL however. Where people of all sorts come together to play in strongest league known to allkind. What does your player wear on gamedays? How do your teammates or media feel about your outfit choices? Does your player follow the tradition of the other leagues? Or do they break the mold and rock something unique every game?

Oskar is a traditional lad not known for going against the grain or standing out too often. More often than not, you'll see him arrive to the game in a suit and tie with a nice pair of slacks and some tasteful dress shoes. During the regular season he keeps his facial hair nicely trimmed, but in the playoffs, especially during a longer run, he can be seen rocking a solid cave man beard. For the most part his choice of attire doesn't rock the boat, and he pretty much blends in with a nice of his teammates. As a native of Germany he's not known for being super charismatic so the outfit matches his personality and the media have come to expect his approach. There was one time though, after Oskar lost a bet to Hargreeves in the regular season scoring race, where Oskar had to arrive to the game in an oversized teddy bear sweater. The one with the lil' ears. It caught everyone off-guard, including a number of teammates who knew it was going to happen. The media had a field day.

When you're a 20 meter high and 22 meter long armored transport vehicle with head-mounted laser cannons and made of durasteel armor, it can be hard to find clothes that fit. AT-AT therefore chooses not to get too much into fashion or 'drip' and instead has to rely on alternative means to accessorize. One of his most common ways to do this is via spray-paint on his hull. He will often hire local mural artists and graffiti-gang to give his armor a glow-up. For various charity games he will have the logo of the charity painted on. Sometimes he will allow decals instead but they seem kind of cheap. If he was ever to be nominated for an award and get to go to the red carpet ceremony, he would probably go all out and get some beskar to really dress up nicely and look his best, but so far that doesn't seem to be probable, at least in the SMJHL. Hodor's pre-game attire is his normal clothing from Winterfell. He has a huge cloak made of a bunch of pelts. It needs to be made of many pelts due to his large size. He also wears rough wool pants and long-sleeve shirt to help with the ever-present cold, as well as waterproof boots made of leather. His signature accessory, though, is a harness he wears to transport crippled kids on his back. He used to show up every game with a boy named Bran on his back and sit him down on the bench while he goes out and plays, but since the boy grew up into a magic 8 ball Hodor's been giving out free rides to injured children. They often get selected voluntarily from a list consisting of patients of the local children's hospital, but sometimes Make-a-Wish provides transportation, upon request, to a lucky child across the country so that they can be harnessed to Hodor's back.

Prompt 1

Pork Tenderloin is probably the worst dressed player that arrives to the rink on any given day. He does not really understand the concept of fashion, nor does he really care to learn about it in any way. They really like to keep it simple on any given gameday, khaki pants with a collared shirt and some sneakers. No need to get fancy or anything like that. The only thing that matters to Pork Tenderloin is how he is going to perform on the ice on any given night so there really isn't any point in him trying to look his best when coming to the rink. He needs to save every ounce of brain energy he can to be able to perform at the best possible level for his team. That is all that really matters to them and that's probably all that will ever matter to them. Clothes are whatever, hockey is forever.

Written Option 1:

Gino usually prefers to wear a more casual attire for his interviews or other spectacles. You would usually find him going about his way in a sporty tracksuit or loose jeans with a sweatshirt and a basic cap.
However there are ties and occasions where Gino is leaning more heavily into his italian heritage. He would then grab a fine, perfectly fitted pine-striped suit, preferably black. To top of the mafioso style he would also occasionally wear an Al Capone style hat on top of his hat.
All of this goes along with some foresty-scented perfume and a load of hair styling wax to look extra snobby.
You would catch him grinning whenever he is asked about hte look and what it inspires in peoples minds.

The fact that he usually appears to only go about his style in a casual, laid-back way, only to then whip out the Mafioso-style for an interview, stuns a lot of people and apparently seems to be a guilty pleasure of his.
