I'm honestly not sure whether it was my torrid affair with the commissioner's stepdaughter or the coach's wife that got me into trouble (the baby is his! It's not like I was going to get a lady pregnant when she already was!). It's also possible one of the dirtier songs I played in the locker room about that handsome linesman with the full beard who called me offside may have done the trick. A shame, really - all I try to do is spread joy in the world, on and off the ice, and these killjoys just want to take that joy away.

Well, the joke will be on them. Just because the lightbulbs have to be LED doesn't prevent them from being smartbulbs pre-programmed with rainbow colours and strobe effects, right? When we score, it will be a full disco party. When the enemy scores, the entire arena will go dark so they can bump into things. And if that handsome linesman calls me offside, a powerful red spotlight will turn him into his own personal red light district. Ha ha!

Yes Hockey is finally back ! The new season came along with big expectations for the Maine following our championship last season. Because of those expectations, there were a lot of spotlight on our team and players. As a rookie in last year's team, Anthony knew he would get a bigger role and more responsabilities with it. Anthony handles it with great calm and professionalism. Anthony's a big part in the marketing aspect, especially after being name as an assistant captain. There were more interviews than in the rookie year obviously. Anthony loves the media, and he talks a lot to them, maybe even too much sometimes. Who knows, maybe he has a future in front of the TV? He wants to know everyone, not to get bigger sponsorships or for money, but because he is the biggest social person ever. He couldn't wait for the startt of the new season to get going and try to repeat !

Brayden Point knows that no one on the team would want to change out the bulbs so he actually volunteered to step up and preform the duty of changing the lights. In the process of raising his hand in the locker that made the the GM mad as it was a hypothetical question. Brayden Point is new to the locker and had no idea of the GM's style on how they act so he did what he does best and took one for the team. On the bright side of things he doesn't have to do it alone most of the team also agreed to step up and Tampa Bay is a big arena with a big crew so there was also a group of support staff that helped to change all the lights out. It still took half a day as the arena has a lot of lights. After putting up all the lights the team flashed them on and off and then all went out for some food and drinks. Tampa is brighter than ever and the arena has a new glow to it.  Barracuda Barracuda Barracuda

How many John Browns does it take to screw in a light bulb? Definitely more than one because John Brown had no idea what an "El Edie" is, and only understands breaking things. As such, John Brown proceeded to take a hammer to destroy all of the lights in the building. All of them. Even the ones in use. Just smash smash smash all the way down the line, cracking them easily and shattering them beyond belief. John Brown wasn't sure how to replace them, so he just simply didn't. He left that to be someone else's problem to deal with, as he only, again, knows how to remove things. In this case, light bulbs and electricity are still new to him, and he did the best he could. After all, isn't that what you want of most people? To do their best? Well not John Brown because I have to write this in the dark now. Thanks.

In my younger years I may have craved the limelight somewhat but I find that I just want to put my head down and get to work. I'm not uncomfortable with a lot of attention on me, it's just that I find people exhausting. I like speaking at events that I am passionate about. I jump on any chance I can to speak at schools or anywhere that you might find young players. Helping to shape the future is something I feel strongly about; I would like to be remembered in a few decades as the player who made a young person into a lifelong fan. Leave the photo shoots and commercials for the young and energetic players and I'll work my magic in the background. I live the life of a mentor and that extends to both my teammates and the people in my community. I am the ambassador of the quiet.

Oh boy. You really decided to give Petr more media coverage? The Czech Guy? Like a capital T "The"? He's just full of propaganda, you'll get no use out of him. Whelp, they keep doing it anyway. Every single once of exposure Petr gets, he uses it to espouse the good word about Czechia and the Czech cause, especially for that elusive first gold medal. As a result, he is a very poor choice for any marketing campaign or strategy, AND YET IT STILL KEEPS HAPPENING. Listen, I get it, he's a fairly high-profile player, before due to his skill, and now due to his milestones, but someone out there is making the conscious choice to keep involving him. Petr on the other hand loves the opportunities and is well-practiced in his speeches that go on and on about the proud Czech way. Petr has seemed to recognize one truth when it comes to the media: all the world's a stage.

Maybe I'll break the fourth wall slightly here because this prompt is startlingly close to what my actual job was for a little bit. Anyways lets say Pinli pissed off the GM because he didn't back check hard enough at the end of a game and there was a viral clip made out of it and someone wrote a tweet like "bro pinli's control fukkin disconnected lmao" or whatever. So I used to work as an electric on film sets, and one day we were filming on location in an old school. This was a pretty small crew and there was only two of us working in lighting, but we were shooting in a lot of different locations around the school. So my job, for the whole day, was to get on a ladder and one by one change the fluorescent bulbs in the school hallways, class rooms, cafeterias, etc. into a better / more consistent colour temperature bulb. I must have changed hundreds of them and let me say... it wasn't that bad! Yes my arms hurt but I essentially was just doing the same exact movement over and over for several hours, listening to podcasts while nobody bothered me. I was ahead of the schedule enough that I was long done the areas needed by the time the rest of the crew got there to shoot, so I was just kinda chilling all day changing bulb after bulb. So I think Pinli would feel similarly. This isn't his normal job so the first few would probably suck but then you kinda get into a rhythm and just enjoy the slow release dopamine of incremental progress.

Boots and the team head into the Stadium for a totally different type of practice. They are ready to climb and hang off the rafters as they are tasked to change every light in the stadium with LED lights. It's all because the GM is still pissed at Boots, Anthique and Valentine. They filled his shoes with Mac n Cheese. Why? It's not the first time. But this time we ruined their expensive shoes and he was just sick of the joke. What made it all worse is the GM was bold enough to not only give the team a long job that was cutting into regular practice and free time, but the GM also filled all the hard hats and hi vis vest pockets with it as well.
The team never got to finish the job. The GM let them go one quarter of the way through and had contractors to finish the job ready. But they did have to clean the hard hats and vests.

Sad Ketchup of the Chicago Syndicate rarely gets in trouble as he in mostly a people pleaser and will say and do whatever someone wants him to hear. But, one thing he does to make management of the Chicago Syndicate of the Simulation Hockey League is that he will cook in the kitchen, his signature dish, ketchup pasta, but make a mess while cooking, he eventually cleans it up, but not immediately. This sometimes irks the management. It is something that Sad Ketchup has been talked to about by the Chicago Syndicate management about his cooking, and they have put up signs for players, have had meetings with the team to remind them about cleaning. Sad Ketchup gets to into cooking his ketchup pasta then wants to eat it, so he often forgets to clean up as he goes. Sad Ketchup is not handy, so he struggles with the task, a few bulbs are dropped, but he does get it done.
