At the outset of the season, I was confident Weston would come into his own as a solid offensive player without sacrificing defense. Instead, he was well below the top echelon of defencemen in the league, even in his final season. It made for a disappointing outing, especially after losing in the playoffs.

I think the worst thing that didn't happen this season is that nobody ate 2 bagels in one sitting @hotdog. I can't believe everyone stops at 1 they are so good! The atlanta locker room is in shambles.

Nothing really in particular at least in terms of my player. Was a fun last season on Ottawa, and I'm definitely looking forward to Winnipeg next season and the upcoming drafts!

I didn't expect for our line to pop-off so goddamn hard this season. Being a bunch of rookies on a rebuilding team you never expect much, but almost all three of us were well above a point per game. I unfortunately was the only one who wasn't, but cake and HFFO more than made up for that.

Honestly the thing I was most surprised about for this season is just how well NEW has done as a whole. I think that we overperformed quite a bit but I would not be surprised if we performed to a similar level next season.

Well, I didn't expect my player to be in the top ten of any of the leaderboards, but he managed to make it into the top ten of points even with our team being in the middle of a rebuild.

I expected that the teams at the bottom of the standings last season would perform just as badly, but overall it seems the floor of the league has risen.

I was expecting us to have a far more difficult season than we did at SDT given our young team, but we ended up performing better than I thought. That's saying nothing of our overall improved standings over last season(14th this season versus 16th last).

I expected a slightly rougher post-Cup season, but the rookies and sophomores were amazing in Maine. Valtteri Pulkkinen led with 55 goals, which is not a surprise for many of us, but not something on a lot of people's bingo card.

Something that happened this off-season that I did not expect in the slightest was the entire toronto fiasco. I have not really seen a team go over budget in the simulation hockey league especially being over budget by six million. I feel for the team,  however it was impressive in how they were able to get underbudget and still have a top of the league competitive team. I will say, it will be interesting to see how next season pans out considering they will be operating with a twelve million cap penalty.

The way people were approaching predictions I would have thought Edmonton would be a lot worse than they were this season. Sure they missed the playoffs, but it seems like they're on their way back up!
